I used 1800Hotels to make my reservations for this visit. Stay away from this service. They promised a refund of a foreign exchange fee and after three correspondences have still not refunded it. I paid the flex fee and were no help when I needed to make changes in my reservations. Aquabella Hotel has comfortable rooms, an onsite restaurant, a... more

It's a corporate hotel designed for conferences (the reason I was here) and it does this quite well, but I wouldn't come here as a tourist. The rooms are pretty plain but do the job. The grounds and swimming pool area look nice, unfortunately I didn't have the weather to appreciate them properly. Some aspects of the room could be... more

Aquabella Hotel is a beautiful, very clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The spa area is also very beautiful. If you're looking for a very provincial place to stay, this is not it. The hotel is very modern, and quite large. So you don't feel like you're staying at a small boutique type hotel. However, it also doesn't... more

i'll keep this brief. the hotel, room, reception service and spa were all great - i cannot fault them. however, two things let this place down - both of which happen to be very important to us: 1. the breakfast was really quite disorganised and it seemed to be impossible to get COLD milk to put on cereal. 2. the... more

We stayed for a week. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean with plenty of space. The aircon worked well and the bathroom was large with both shower and bath and the toilet in a separate room. The choice and quality at breakfast was excellent, with almost everything one could ask for on offer. The staff were pleasant... more

Satnav is definately a bonus when trying to find the hotel but once there we didn`t use the car during our stay - no need to as the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from everything we wanted to see. Though a city centre hotel the location is very quiet. Only advice I would give is you are expected... more

This hotel is wonderful - right in the heart of the old town, next to the Roman Baths. Beautifully furnished, great staff. more

Compared to the other places we stayed on this trip, Hotel Aquabella did not impress. We thought it was pretty expensive for what we got. Pros: comfortable bed, very clean, lovely pool. Cons: pay for parking, breakfast not included, no view, rooms have no charm. more

We stayed here for a week in August 2009. The rooms are typical 3 * standard, clean, tidy and fresh which was all we needed and expected. The staff were always polite, friendly and helpful- which made us feel all the more welcome and relaxed. The pool was excellent- a great place to relax with very good pool side service.... more

This is a real gem! We stayed here for two days in July and could highly recommend it for anyone interested in seeing this beautiful city while having a really nice hotel, complete with pool and spa, only a ten minute stroll from the town centre. The staff could not be more helpful, and the food in "The Orangerie" worth... more
