Finding hotels in this area with terraces is difficult but voila! This is a good location, nice, helpful staff - but a bit dependent upon who is on duty, beautiful grounds and pool. Very helpful with restaurant reservations - which should always be made for the restaurants in the area in order to not be disappointed. Would definitely go back.... More

This was our first night whilst on our way down to the Cote D'Azur. We had totally misjudged the journey and so probably should have stayed a few hundred miles north. Also the weather on the drive down was horrific (apocalyptic rain for 2 hours and our run flat alarm sounding). All in all it was not the best start... More

We've stayed at the Aquabella Hotel, in Aix-en-Provence twice, once in June, 2014 and once in June, 2015. It is a nice hotel, the food is good, the staff is friendly, the rooms clean and bright. Just remember to bring your ear plugs, because, like all city hotels, there are sounds outside that can be heard at night. I really... More

I recently stayed at the Aquabella for 7 nights whilst visiting Provence with a group and was very impressed. The hotel is well situated for visiting all the sights which Aix has to offer and is only a 5 minute walk from the town. The lobby is bright and airy, the bedrooms are excellent (I had been upgraded) very nicely... More

We stayed at the Aquabella for a week just on a bed & breakfast option, so can't comment on the restaurant. The hotel is perfectly placed for the town centre. The room was clean, nicely appointed and the maid service good. Breakfast was a typical buffet style, with a good range of fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses, breads, croissants etc.,... More

We enjoyed the Aquabella a few years ago and decided to stay again. We were not disappointed. It is very clean, the service is good and the swimming pool area is amazing. The food is not chef and we tended to go out to eat for all our meals including breakfast

We had not booked ahead and found the hotel by chance - and it turned out to be a great find. It is centrally located, within walking distance of historical sites and shops. The staff were pleasant and friendly and the room was very comfortable. Parking is available at an extra cost, but this is well worthwhile. If we go... More

A very pleasant hotel, well-situated to get around Aix. Nice-sized, well-appointed room with adequate drawer and bathroom space. Friendly, accomodating staff, very nice selection for breakfast and nice outdoor area for dining as well. I did not use the spa facilities but saw many who did. Did eat dinner at the hotel one evening and was not disappointed. Would recommend... More

We stayed one night in this hotel for a short stay in Aix. The location is great near the old city and the hotel offers a Spa and a nice outdoor pool surrounded by a garden. There is a parking nearby which is convenient too (however it is 12€ per night). The breakfast is good and even better if you... More
