This hotel is well located, close to the Main Street in Aix, restaurants and attractions . The swimming pool is beautiful but it is also part of the spa it has many rules, the rooms were ok but not great, or maybe I was expecting more from this hotel , and front desk was helpful but not very friendly.

aquabella is a rather large, dated hotel just on the northern edge of hmthe old town in Aix en provence. My wife and i stayed for three nights in late september. The hotel was built in the mid nineties, and is a little bit run down around the edges, however the price was right around 200 AUD per night for... More

This hotel is well situated close to the old town, with an attractive pool and pool area. The spa is a nice addition and was well patronised when we were there (people floating around in towelling gowns all over). The spa waters were celebrated from the Roman era onwards. We had a large comfortable Privelegee room with a good sized... More

My small group stayed only one night in Aix, and we were drawn to Aquabella in part due to the many positive reviews on TA. But we left wondering why our experience was so different than what we read about on TA. The rooms were very pedestrian, and the service was tentative, seemingly from inexperience. The hotel does feature one... More

Very happy with our stay. We were upgraded to the premier room which has a beautiful view of the city. Only 10 minute walk to center town. Be careful if your arriving in the TGV station which is a 35 euro cab to the city.

This is our third visit to Hotel Aquabella in Aix, one of our favourite cities in Europe. It is very centrally located and has a parking nearby. We had a room with balcony at the backside of the hotel. last time it was quite noisy at night, from young people coming home from having a drink or diner. This time... More

The hotel has a wonderful location pretty much in the center of everything, but finding the hotel was very frustrating. We missed the small street my GPS had indicated to turn on and got a little lost going through very, very narrow streets with numerous pedestrians. To make matters worse, just when we thought we were close, the GPS indicated... More

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and enjoyed the comfy large room with king size bed.Close to main street through small alleys that open up into large squares full of restaraunts bars etc. Pool was very nice but can't say I liked wearing the towel robes in and out of the area. Hotel restaurant (The Orange) was classy and... More

Fabulous hotel in terms of location, ameneties. Superb pool, gardens, accomodation, cuisine and friendly staff. Easily walkable to Gare Routiere (bus station) for connection by shuttle bus (4Euros10 per person one way - 15 to 20 minutes) to Aix en Provence TGV :(We always travel by train). Should really be a 4* hotel but then again that would put up... More

The photo of the hotel was what attracted me to book and it more than fulfilled my expectations. The Aquabella is in a great location, just off one of the main squares. We had good, helpful service, including poolside drinks and a comfortable and stylish room with good wifi. I loved my visit to Aix, it's a charming small city... More
