The hotel is in a very central position in the town, the staff are friendly and helpful. The main problem with the hotel is the noise in the rooms which is not helped by the laminate floors in the bedrooms, noise from other rooms and the plumbing in the bathrooms of other rooms. This hotel needs a serious upgrade. The whole place had a bad smell and depressing vibe. We agree with other recent reviewers that the hotel needs a major overhaul and cleaning. Location is wonderful however. Did not even try breakfast.

I suppose there must be a mystery how this hotel got its three star rate... I was astonished in front of the door of my room. Everything was the simplest, the crudest possible. We stayed for one night in February. What can I say? a clean room at a reasonable price. Good as a 2 star can get. Clean, hot water etc. But the location is great, close to the things like shops rest's etc. Parking was available in the back courtyard for a 10 euro charge.

There is no better location in Aix-en-Provence, France. A little dated, however tidy and clean. Friendly service and helpful receptionist's. Great breakfast

Ok, great location; right in the heart of the city. But that's it. Do not expect something more! An old and shabby building, small rooms, never-ending noise of the elevator, inadequate service and after all, costly price. Aix is beautiful town but we should have chosen another hotel.

Very nice old world hotel with large rooms and vaulted ceilings. Has a definite worn but charming quality and the location is truly outstanding. Good value. Breakfast did not look too inviting, but many breakfast options nearby.
