This little hotel on a side street about 3 blocks from the main street is notable for an excellent, friendly staff and remarkably small rooms. There is a fairly comfortable lounge downstairs. The bathrooms appear to be recently renovated and have excellent shower facilities. If you’re on a budget, the quality of the rooms is appropriate for the price. Next... More

RR i booked this hotel because it had a nice review by Rick Steves, but we were sorry. The staff were nice enough, but the hotel is tiny, walk up stairs of course, tiny misaligned rooms because they made 2 rooms o0ut of one. You walk through a long wasted corridor until you arrive at the main part which is... More

The hotel suffered a little as we had been royally treated and fed in Nice. The room was extremely small, albeit with a big bathroom. However, the location was excellent within walking distance of anything you would like to see in Aix-en-Provence. Breakfast was coffee, croisant and juice which paled in comparison to what we received in Nice. In hindsight,... More

small , cute, full of charm, and great location. Very close to Cours Mirabeau and so you can walk all over. No elevator so if steps are a problem, don't stay here. Helpful staff, nice bathroom, but bedroom is very European....small but adequate. No free wifi. still good value for the money. No complaints,.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights. We didn't have a reservation so we ended up changing rooms for the 2nd night. The first night was roomy but the second night not so much. (He is 6'4" so anything on the 3rd floor had waay too low ceilings.) Bonus: bathtubs! Cons: no lift, drunken French people whoo-hooing at... More

So lovely my stay was at this hotel, so close to explore all that is lovely about about this town. The staff are all so nice and the feeling of Provence permeates when swinging back into your room. I found the whole atmosphere in Aix so appealing - the little restaurants- the shops - the history- the market day on... More

Fantastic location. Small clean rooms, 30 secs from the Cour Mirabeau. Lots of character but walk up. We had a lovely tiny room on the top floor. Nice breakfast room swell. Helpful staff. Excellent value for money.

There are some good aspects and quite a few of negative aspects of this hotel. Starting with the positive: a) good location b) very friendly and pleasant staff compared to other hotels in Aix at similar level c) price was reasonable The negatives a) noise - I had a room on the top floor but the noise still disturbed my... I had asked for a quiet room when booking, but on arrival we were informed that all the rooms were on the street - and there would be no advantage in moving. The staff were courteous and helpful, the room was small but pleasant, but the noise was horrendous. Cars, motorbikes, lots of shouting and talking until the early morning,... More
