I loved Hotel Le Pigonnet, the hotel is set in the most magnificent gardens and located a medium walk to the town. The rooms were spacious and clean with a pleasant outlook over the gardens. The restaurant was wonderful, the breakfast and dinner were of a high standard however, it was frightfully expensive and a cheese sandwich at lunch time... more

My husband and I stayed for two nights in April and we had a very comfortable and positive experience. The staff attitude was mixed at times but in general they seemed to try their best to be helpful. I did not have a good experience with my dish at dinner time but my husband enjoyed his dish. Service was impeccable... more

This hotel is rated four stars, and it lives up to its branded label of four stars, in service, in details of decor, in culinary delights I had at dinner and just attentive and responsive in customer service! Well deserved ratings of four stars! more

I stayed here with my sister for a weekend. Half the staff were pleasant, the other half were not. The hotel itself is out of town, 10 min walk along a road, not very nice walk but it was good to be out of town. The hotel and grounds are lovely. However when checking in, we were told that breakfast... more

We have two small children and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful and caring about our stay and they did it all with exquisite perfection and discretion. We had two beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable adjoining bedrooms. We dined every evening in the wonderful hotel restaurant 'Le Riviera' the staff had organised little projects for the children,... more

We just came back from a stay at "Le Pigonnet" in Aix-en-Provence and the hotel was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in France! Nestled in a parklike garden and within walking distance from station and downtown area, it is a true haven of tranquillity. After having read the previous reviews I was a bit worried... more

Stayed here 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. It was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our trip and certainly wasn't the best. The room was ok, although not particularly large or luxurious (we'd paid extra for an upgrade/garden view). Bathroom was small and very average. Ground floor public areas of the hotel were very... more

Hotel Pigonnet was tired and overpriced. Seems to be living on a past reputation. Strange location. Staff seemed to think it was a 4 star hotel which is what it is rated but not worth the price. more

Stayed for 3 nights in May during our honeymoon. The place is fantastic, although you wouldn't tell from the street it's located on. The rooms are small for the price, but not atypical of European hotels. Bathrooms are great and large in proportion to our room. The concierge was not very helpful when asked about local attractions (they didn't know... more

We just returned from a stay at Le Pigonnet. We stayed in a two bedroom villa there. It was spacious and beautiful. The grounds of the hotel are quite stunning and well maintained. The only complaint that we had was the service at the hotel. The people at the front desk and in the restaurant could barely speak English and... more
