We had a comfortable room, overlooking the garden and away from the town, over the valley. This was very nice although maybe a better wedding venue than five star hotel. Service and front desk were friendly and we chose to take our meals in the town, about a half kilometer walk towards the main street.

We stayed at Le Pigonnet after 2 nights at a hotel on Cours Mirabeau. What a treat! This place was wonderful. We had a sunny day and read all afternoon at the pool after checking in early. We left pool mid afternoon to enjoy a wine at their outdoor bar, located in their lovely gardens and then ended the evening... More

This Hotel does not match the expectations of an International Five star hotel. When we booked we requested a room with bath but were given a room with a shower: we were moved to another room with bath. While able to carry our cases nobody offered to take us to the room ! We confirmed our dinner reservation: they claimed... More

My wife and I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel recently It was a very disappointing stay due to the inadequacies of staff and lack of professionalismthroughout. service at meal time was very bad. While staying in junior suite a simple matter of room clean and turn down was Forgotton. There was a movie being made in hotel... More

What a beautiful hotel. The minute we drove up we knew we had the perfect hotel. The gardens were beautiful, the pool, the bar area, the restaurant all made for a perfect 3 night stay. The breakfast in the morning was great. Lots to choose from. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. The rooms were large with comfortable king... More

Especially Benjamin the Maitre De, who always a most warm and generous greeting on all our visits. Sumer dining in the garden is a most for us and our hols are... More

I love this hotel... it looks like a little castle when you enter the big compound. Great gardens at the back of the building. Hotel Rooms are clean and nice, staff are friendly ..... recommended really good restaurants in the City. You will need to walk like 15 minutes to the town centre...

The Hotel and the staff were lovely. Kind, thoughtful, patient. The room was 5 star - Presidential Suite. This is one of the memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. We had a small family wedding here. The rose garden was incredible. The staff were meticulous. Tres Joyeux!

I agree with the other reviewers that it's not a 5 star hotel. They position themselves as such, but they really fall short in the service and attention to details. It is a lovely and charming property, with beautiful gardens, a nice pool and a very hip outdoor lounge. Our rooms were good size connecting rooms, 40 and 38. 40... More

Let's start with the positive experiences such as a good location (10 min walk to the city center) adorable garden, mainly attentive staff and good sleep comfort. However the hotel has positioned itself as a five star which I think is questionable considering the following; (i) poorly designed bathroom with large amounts of water on the floor after each shower,(ii)...
