I have been staying at the pigonnet for the Valentines Day with my wife and it was definitely a good choice. Resting in the Presidential Suite for a couple days & nights was a pure moment of delight shared with my beloved half. View on the Sainte Victoire mountain from the terrace made it totally unique. Thank you so much... More

Only a short walk away from Cours Mirabeau and surprisingly quiet and peaceful to be so close to the city centre. The garden is incredible and offers a "Provence" atmosphere. Too bad the Sainte Victoire is hidden behind the tall trees though. One night we tried the restaurant- the food is delicious (very good price for the quality) and service... More

If you're looking to stay in a quality and luxury place while keeping the feeling you are in Provence, this is the right place. Excellent atmosphere with a quality and most often friendly staff. So many nice places to visit around there. The restaurant definitely deserves a stop on your trip, specially when you can sit outside in the magnificent... More

I spent an excellent stay at the hotel Le Pigonnet for NYE. The place is wonderful and ideally located in Aix-en-Provence. The outdoor area with the garden and the pool is quiet and beautiful. We had an AMAZING dinner at the restaurant where the food was outstanding. The atmosphere of the hotel is really welcoming and I particularly appreciated the... More

Traveling with another couple, we stayed here the first part of October, 2014. I knew better as soon as we saw our room. It was a "dump" (the bell boy was funny in that he described it as trying to maintain the original character of the hotel ~ with a straight face no less). The elevator was about half the... More

We stayed here for 4 lovely days on the recommendation of two colleagues. We were here in early November, a slow time of this area. The front desk staff was exceedingly helpful and gracious. Our language skills are non-existent and they were very patient and persistent in helping us with directions and recommendations for places to eat in town. Our... More

I was torn between staying here or Vill Gallici, but I am so happy that I decided upon Le Pigonnet. It is a great location, an easy walk to Aix . We were very lucky as we were upgraded to a junior suite, which was absolutely lovely. We stayed for three days, and had dinner at the hotel one evening,... More

I agree with what others have said - beautiful property, comfortable rooms, lovely gardens but there are some real problems with this hotel. The front desk staff is just not welcoming or capable. Often they were in the back talking while people were waiting at the front desk. Many staff members didn't seem to know anything about the surroundings. Breakfast... More

We had a comfortable room, overlooking the garden and away from the town, over the valley. This was very nice although maybe a better wedding venue than five star hotel. Service and front desk were friendly and we chose to take our meals in the town, about a half kilometer walk towards the main street.

We stayed at Le Pigonnet after 2 nights at a hotel on Cours Mirabeau. What a treat! This place was wonderful. We had a sunny day and read all afternoon at the pool after checking in early. We left pool mid afternoon to enjoy a wine at their outdoor bar, located in their lovely gardens and then ended the evening... More
