My usual travel mantra is "central, clean, and safe," but this Citadines apart'hotel tested my tolerance for basic. The room was very much like a dorm or hospital room: linoleum for easy cleaning, no effort to make it comfortable or charming, though the little balcony was nice; a flimsy but not too uncomfortable foldout bed. The kitchen area has about a plate's width of counter space, which makes cooking even a basic meal very difficult. This was problematic because unlike the other Citadine I have stayed in, there was also no dishwasher and storage and drying space was very, very limited. There was supposed to be a cleaning halfway through the stay, but "the" cleaning woman called in sick, and so the room wasn't cleaned until the night before we left. The location is not central, but 2 buses run pretty frequently to the center of town. The walls are paper thin- we could hear our neighbors coughing and opening their bed.
