Not a great deal to see in Aix-en-Provence compared to Nimes, Avignon, Nice etc but it was a good stopover and close to the motorway. Hated the joint rooms with a door in the middle, the people in the next room were trying the handle all the time or using it to hang clothes on and you could hear coughing... More

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights over Easter. Great location straight off the auto-route and easy to find. We had spent quite a few hrs driving to get there, so we were thrilled to see that there was a restaurant open that had recently been refurbished. The menu was a great mix from dumplings to beef carpaccio to... More

Stayed here for four nights while exploring neighboring Provence. It's a clean location and the decor is sort of upscale Ikea. The room was sort of small, smaller than many other hotel rooms we have stayed at in Europe. Note also, it is not in a green country setting as hinted at on the website. Rather it is more like... Although in the middle of major refurbishment visible in the lobby, the stay was not impacted by it as my room was away from the noise and disruption. Breakfast was more basic than usual in Ibis hotels, maybe due to the temporary arrangement. The room is a bit bigger than the standard in similar hotels, but the bathroom tiny and... More

I accept that you get what you pay for but I expected more than paper thin walls and to eat in a portacabin! I could literally hear him talking, snoring etc. have to say the staff could not have been more helpful. Overall, wouldn't choose again.

Negative: High cost of breakfast Positive: Service. We stayed at this hotel expecting basic amenities and service. However we were extremely satisfied with the hotel room and and service that was par excellence. One of the front desk person, Heloise, went out of her way to take care of our issues. When I called to find CNN in English, she... More

We stayed here last year and I was unhappy about the small room Back in France again this year, we needed a place to stay for the night on our way to Antibes. Read Tripadvisor reviews and saw the price. Remembered how convenient the nearby bus was for going into the village--only 1Euro each way. Free internet and parking very... More

I d'ont normally do reviews, in this I could'nt resist. A lovely Hotel, comfortable room & facilities....and a pool! Above all, the friendliness & efficiency of ALL the staff, was really outstanding. Also, unknown to myself, I was "short-changed" by €20 at the bar. The next day, as I was passing Reception, I was called over & reimbursed with the... More

1,75 Km from the city centre my Ibis app tells me. 'Not too bad', I thought, "Maybe we can walk and leave the car at the hotel'. Well, it turns out that to the Cours Mirabeau the distance is 2,6 km, a little too much for walking up and down, and reconnoiter the city on foot for the day For... More

I've stayed in many Ibis hotels, and this ranks amongst the best: - Access for high cars, as parking is secure and outdoor, easily found and just off the motorway - Great fast free wifi - Clean, modern rooms - Good air con - Easy access into Aix via bus. You can get this from outside the hotel, takes 15... More
