Arrived from London, we decided to book two nights at the maison d'aix. Rooms? Delightful. Service? Impeccable. Location? Unbeatable. Breakfast ? A pleasure. Design? Elegant Difficult to say anything else except thank you for taking care of our stay in this magnificent way. Worth every euro you pay. Absolutely wonderful. We will be back for sure.

Delightful hotel with excellent amenities and beautifully appointed rooms. Loved the attention to detail and thoughtful touches. The best part of our stay was Audrey, the hotel director, who made suggestions, reservations and generally went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She is a gem! Highly recommend!

This hotel is as unusual as its history. This hotel I think only had five rooms and everything is on a separate floor. We stayed in the room on the top floor and it was a chore lugging our oversized suitcases up the small stairwell. There is no place to park or even stop your car for more than a... More

Booked our stay after reading of the excellent reviews in Trip Adviser and we are not disappointed. Very friendly and after you get the hang of the accommodation being like a large home, it becomes just that, like staying in a large home. Very friendly yet not invasive, the situation, decore, facilities and environment are just great. Our room at... More

We just returned from this incredibly beautiful small hotel in Aix en provence. We travel a lot for work in big chain hôtels. This time, we decided to pick up La Maison d'aix for our 2 nights stay in Aix, relying on Tripadvisor's reviexs. We've had the most incredible time. The interiors are exqusite and so astonishing considering the previous... More

A perfect experience. Ended by the unexpected discovery that this house used to serve host to Picasso and Coco Chanel as they'd sip tea in the room we were sitting in. We stayed in their suite and it was spectacular in every way. Stylish and sophisticated. From the warm welcome on arrival, to the plentiful suggestions on things to do... More

We had a wonderful experience at this 4 room property because of its manager, comfort and great location in the heart of old Aix. Audrey helped us with every aspect of our stay. It was like staying in a friend's home with a very attentive hostess.

We spent a week in Aix en Provence and used this central location to explore the region. The room was wonderful and the staff went out of their way to make this a special trip. They had many recommendations for the region and made wonderful dinner and lunch reservations for us. We will return here again. Excellent quiet location!!!

My wife and I stayed with La Maison d'Aix in early November. We have nothing but good things to say about the place. Audrey and Victor took great care of us. From the moment we arrived and our car was whisked to parking, our luggage disappeared to our room, to great local recommendations offered, and even to pampering us with... More
