I wouldn't define La Maison d'Aix a hotel. It's more an intimate place to stay, perfect if you're a couple. Everything is at hand in the nice Aix, rooms are large and clean, and the furniture is very nice. The hosters are also very warm and caring. Nevertheless, we found two issues. First, parking is a bit of a problem.... More

My wife and I stayed here on our way to Nice. The Maison d'Aix is a great B&B in the centre of the town and the manager was very friendly and helpful. Our room on the top floor was perfect and beautifully appointed, but note the stairs may be a hurdle for some. A few gripes - we stood outside... More

This was by far my favorite hotel that we stayed at in Provence! We were greeted by the charming house manager, Audrey and made immediately to feel at home! We were a bit nervous as no one we had spoken to on our travels had heard of this place, but our fears were immediately put to rest. It is a... More

My husband and I just stayed here and loved it. The space is beautiful, full of interesting art and modern finishes in all the right places. We received TERRIFIC food (go to Mitch for dinner) and museum (Jean Planque Collection) recommendations. Hotel was extremely conveniently located and would def stay there again should we come back to Aixe!

This is not a hotel by any common measure; it makes memories, sweet and forever-type memories. It is a boutique hotel with only 6 rooms. We stayed in the Love Suite, the best of the 6. Majestically appointed. A romantic vision. Every detail is finely rendered. The spa is other-worldly with a steam room and a large jacuzzi (though the... More

We absolutely cherished and LOVED our stay at La Maison d'Aix. I hope we are fortunate enough to go back again one day in the future. From the minute we walked in for the first time, to the minute we left, our stay was like a dream. The only downside was that we wished we could have stayed longer than... More

Great service, great location! Best welcome of anywhere I have stayed around the world. Tea, and a respite, arrangements made, sent for a lovely dinner. Comfortable room overlooking a nice garden. As always, delicious croissants. Easy walk to everything!

My husband found this gem online and loved the location within walking distance of Cours Mirabeau. We arrived around 1:30 pm by taxi after taking the TGV from Paris. We were greeted warmly at the door by Audrey and Laura's lovely mother ( Laura is the owner). While we enjoyed tea and espresso after our travels, Laura's mother told us... More

We had an amazing stay at Maison d'Aix, our only regret was staying two nights instead of four! The Maison is a beautiful renovated house on a quiet street, and walking distance to all the hustle and bustle of Aix. The decor was fabulous and everything was very clean. Our room was large and very romantic. Both Victor and Audrey... More

This is a B&B, not a hotel. It is certainly decorated first class although the Chairman Mao painting in the living room was an odd touch. The owners spend their time in Tel Aviv and Hong Kong and were not on the property. The staff (1 host, 1 cook is all we saw) are very helpful for the most part.... More
