We stayed here on a freezing cold night and found the hotel to be warm and welcoming. The menu at the restaurant was not appealing so we ate elsewhere. The hotel was chosen as it was relatively near the railway station and, unlike many other hotels in Poitiers, it had free parking. Functional and friendly.

Room overlooked the dualcarriageway, making it very noisy and as we had to sleep with the windows open(very hot and no airconditioning) we ended up covered in mosquito bites. Room smelt of stale cigarettes and there was a spider's web in the corner of the room - that stayed there the whole visit!! Bar staff were practically non-existant.

Travelling enroute from France to Spain this is a good stop-over place after starting in Calais. Location is out of the town but we chose the hotel because it had parking and the majority of the centre of town hotels didn't, so if you don't have transport bear this in mind.
There is nothing too special about the hotel, but...

Overnight last minute stay on road trip from Spain through France. Good location, really friendly helpful staff & the room was lovely. We were upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi bath & after a long drive was the perfect end to the day. Would stay agin.
