Great location for staying in a Poitiers and walking distance to bars, restaurants and all the beautiful architecture. Check in was fine, on getting to our room we just wanted to freshen up and get a meal in the main street after driving up from the Spanish boarder since 10am. Basic room, no frills, plastic cups for water that crack(not... More

I really liked this hotel. It very cheap for the high standard of the rooms and service. It has a brilliant location, friendly helpful staff. Extremely clean rooms. I think it's more like a 4 star hotel.

We booked this hotel at the last minute as we toured around France. The location was fantastic literally minutes from fabulous bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel was very easy to find, with on site secure parking at a cost of 7 euros. The 24hr reception staff speak English and were very helpful. The room was spacious, clean and quiet.

We used this as an overnight stop, and found it ideal for the purpose. Very centrally situated, with a glut of restaurants just outside the door. It's courtyard setting makes it very quiet, and the breakfast well worth paying the supplement for. Have checked it out before we left we found a previous Trip Advisor tip very useful - follow... Good news is that it's clean, TV and hot water work. Otherwise it's close to third world. No shampoo, conditioner or soap in useful, form. Towels are left over rags. Service is there but mediocre. No a/c and cheap fan not too helpful. The 3 stars they have is a stretch. We were here since a conference booked it for us.... More

What more could one want ! Very clean and comfortable rooms, with modern furnishings, good sized bathrooms and a plentiful supply of hot water: perfect location very close to the buzzy city centre: efficient reception: excellent off street secure parking at moderate cost, and a first rate French style buffet breakfast. The only downside is that you'll probably benefit from... More

This hotel is in the perfect central location and tucked away off a busy main shopping street in a courtyard, so it reduces city centre noise. The downside is the awkward one way system, which made it difficult to find, if you don't know Poitiers. When we got there, we were offered undercover parking at 7euro which was reasonable for... Excellent location in the city core, with ample parking: hotel is off the main street, set back so that it appears to have no street noise. Clean, well kept rooms and helpful staff, nice breakfast room and better-than-usual buffet. A Very Good value for the money, walking distance to many small restaurants and bistros. Would definitely stay there again!!

No bar of soap - just a dispenser screwed to the wall. No shampoo, unless you used the liquid soap. Minibar had previous occupants opened bottles in it. No kettle for making a hot drink, and no room service. Lighting required a tour of the room to turn on several low wattage bulbs. And the lavatory so close to the... More

The hotel is in an excellent location - in the centre of Poitier and close to excellent restaurants. However, please note that your sat nav will not find this hotel as the centre is now a pedestrian zone and where you can drive is a one way system. You must follow signs for hotel de ville and you will then... More
