Thankfully only stayed one night in Appart'City. As described previously, 'apartment' was on third floor, no lift, and we are in our seventies!. Rooms basic, very basic, creaky stairs to 'second' bedroom and kitchenette. Shower showered the whole bathroom. An uncomfortable stay, definitely not to be repeated.

i stayed at the appart city for 4 months during my semester abroad in la rochelle. the price for what you get is quit high, but the location (around 10 minutes from the old port) is perfect, even if the neighborhood is not really great during the night... my room was quit clean and had everything i needed, the staff... Great location, it's only 5 minutes walk from town. The price is really great too but don't expect top notch accommodation, or even mediocre. We stayed here because it was so cheap but we read the reviews before booking and knew to expect a foul smell from the bathroom. You have to pay 4.90 euro to get your towels changed... More

I've never seen anything like this. When I entered the room I was shocked by the filthiness in the room. The pictures on their website have nothing to do with the room. When I said i want to cancel my stay at the hotel (i rather sleep in the park) they said i have to pay penalities. Bugs, fleas, moths,... More

The Apartment block houses many rooms. We where on the ground floor in a room for two people. The room comprised a walk in shower with sink and toilet, and a living room / bed room with a kitchenette. The settee folded over to make a bed to sleep in which was comfortable. The kitchenette, came with plates, dishes cups... More

The first apartment we were allocated had faulty sliding doors to the patio and we could not open them. They immediately gave us another room. Before we left we looked around this apartment, and felt it was in poor condition. The reception and dining staff were all very polite and helpful but their command of English was not good so... This hotel was a big disappointment, the room was very basic and tired. The shower leaked all over the floor. The beds were uncomfortable. There weren't enough pillows for a family of four. The breakfast wasn't worth the cost. Glad we were only there for one night, felt sorry for the family there for 10nights!!

I stay at this hotel for 2 nights and I did bid not regret my choice. The hotel is a very short taxi ride far from the station but if you do not carry too much bagage with you you could reach the hotel by foot in less than 20 minutes. Hotel is not vey modern but rooms are large... More

Although the price was good, the facilities and location were not. We did not feel comfortable with area, seemed a little seedy. The complex seemed to rent to long and short stays. It seemed rather transient. The apartment was clean. The bed was actually a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable. Thank goodness it was only for one nite. Small... More

Had pre-booked 2 nights stopover on our way south, expecting the described studio to allow us a relaxing travel break. It was actually more like a hostel - poor appearance, unsecured car-park, dodgy location, very small room, and to top it all the bed was a SOFA BED . . incredibly uncomfortable ! Perhaps they should have spent money on... More
