Fairly late booking as all the other hotels seemed to be full. Found it easily enough and staff were pleasant. Room was a similar size to a smallish hotel room but with sink unit, microwave and fridge. There was a cupboard and a small table and 2 chairs. Considering the size of the room, the bathroom was very large, a... More

We booked this on booking.com as a last minute thing, wanted to check out La Rochelle. We were late arriving and nobody in reception. this was very easy as they have a safe that has your key in it, this was such a relief. Room was fantastic and couldn't fault the place for standards, was going to use the pool... More

We booked a studio apartment and found it excellent. It was spacious (and surprisingly also the bathroom), the bed was comfortable, everything modern and clean and the room quiet. Thought the price was good considering there's also a swimming pool and the location is a 10 min walk to the harbour. The breakfast was a really good continental breakfast and... More

Not a bad location , but to describe the apartment we booked as suitable for 4 adults is a joke!! Bedroom had a small double bed which was OK, but the other sleeping availability was a sofa bed that had certainly seen better days. When in use, due to the layout of the apartment it was impossible to gain access... More

During a road trip up the west coast of France, we were looking forward to visiting La Rochelle. This accommodation was unusual. Whilst very well situated for walking into the town and close to the old port, it felt very impersonal and lacked any degree of welcome or comfort in the communal areas. The room was an apartment type and... More

Location is good, just 10 minute walk from the old port. It took the sat nav 20 minutes to find this place, it has little of signage on the building, but we got there. The parking is very secure but costs €10 per day. Wi Fi was ok but not great, very slow at times. Breakfast was €9 per day... More

Stayed recently for 2nights for a special occasion and found staff very unfriendly and unhelpful.Apartment no 218 right beside Shipyard with strong smell of Resin as a result could not leave windows open. Couch Bed very uncomfortable. Did find apartment well equipped and clean.

The apartment was very clean and we had clean towels every day but didn't need them and would have preferred a hair dryer in the room, we had to ask at reception every time we wanted to wash our hair! The location and staff were excellent, we really enjoyed the river bus to take us to the old port and... More

The room is sold as appartment, but actually it is no hotelroom and no appartment. The room offers a lousy small sofa bed, instable, noisy and very uncomfortable. In an appartment you would expect a bed and a sofa and not a sofa bed. The bed is made upon arrival, so there is not place to sit at night except... More

We (two adults/two small children) stayed here over the weekend - 3rd February. Excellent location - 15 minutes from the old port, the aquarium and the maritime museum. The quartier was dead on a Sunday and only the local "Subway" open. No matter - we had a excellent meal of galettes/crepes in town. The complex is fairly new. We had... More
