Weren't informed of the roadworks and road to hotel barred when we booked and subsequently took ages to access the hotel. The room was so small had to practically walk over the bed to get to the window, that is without hitting your head on the badly angled plasma screen on the wall. I don't normally like chain hotels but this was a last minute booking and we were very happy with the Comfort Inn St Nicholas. Very central, with helpful staff. Great central location for our group as motorcyclists with a second to none private parking facility - Cheap and cheeful and staff were very helpful and eager to answer every query - food was fresh and plentiful in supply - This was a return trip for some of our group and I will definately consider a return in the future... more
