Looked forward to a 4 night stay over Christmas. On arrival found that there was no restaurant service Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Why bother being open? I left Christmas Day morning. Not impressed with the Prestige room either - just as cramped as a standard room.

Excellent location, lots of free parking space, friendly and helpful reception. Room was well furnished, a good size and comfortable Bathroom was immaculate, and well equipped with an excellent shower. Restaurant was closed on Sunday evening, but there was an excellent fish restaurant (Restaurant La Marée) just across the road. Breakfast was very good and with a wide variety -... More

My partner and I stayed for a Sunday night in December. The welcome at reception was lovely but it was explained that because it was a Sunday evening the restaurant would be closed, although it would open for breakfast on Monday morning. Not a problem as we wanted to dine at one of the many restaurants nearby. The car parking... More

When we stayed the restaurant was out of use and meals were being taken in a downstairs function room. Dinner service was very poor - and we reported this to the management (but as we didn't want a complementary drink as compensation we got no compensation for long delays and cold food being served). The substitute restaurant lacked atmosphere and... More

Regular Mercure, nothing fancy about it, nothing outstanding good or bad. The dinner / breakfast room seemed a temporary setup, I certainly hope so because it doesn't have any charm. The hotel is very well positioned in the city, nice walking around, walking distance if you come by train as I did.

This is a modern hotel with a nautical theme. We had a nice room with a large and comfortable bed and enough space to store luggage etc. The bathroom was spotless and again had a nautical theme. The breakfast was good, although slightly overpriced. The location was amazing, as it was possible to walk not only to a great restaurant,... More

Good hotel with parking very near the town with all its shops and restaurants. Rooms OK and clean. They seem to have refurbished the rooms and work is ongoing in the public areas. The breakfast is good with a good selection of food items including eggs and bacon. Though the coffee machine is a bit daunting. Excellent restaurant, La Maree,... More

we were tired after a day of travel, walked to a couple of recommended restaurants which were fully reserved, and ended up back at the hotel for dinner. The restaurant was called " panoramique" but was tabled set up in a conference room, fully curtained. No panorama. The wine was superb! And we had a lovely young woman server. Then... More

We enjoyed very much our two nights stay at this hotel last week. Location is great with many restaurants, bars and shops easy reachable by foot. The restaurant offers great view over the old harbour and the breakfast buffet was very well attended. The rooms are very small and the standard room which we had originally booked had to be...
