We arrived in Rochelle whilst driving through Fance only to find that all the 3 and 4 star hotels were booked due to a conference. Giving up hope of finding somewhere to stay in the area we really wanted to visit we found Hotel Le Rupella which is rated at two star. They had a room! We thought that we... More

This hotel has a great location and the front rooms have a terrific view of the basin, for which you pay extra. Our room had a sewer pipe in the wardrobe (by the room door) which meant there was an awful smell every time you walked in. The wardrobe was the only storage space and had about 6 hangers most... Hotel Le Rupella is a perfect accommodation, which offers wonderful services at affordable prices. From the moment we reached the place and till the time we departed, all the staff members there took a great care of us. Facilities and services at this hotel are excellent. Food is amazing and every meal had a different variety. Highly recommended

We were lucky to get the last room in La Rochelle last September when the Grand Pavois was in full swing. We had gone to the tourist office in La Rochelle and a very helpful lady had telephoned the hotel and booked a room for 3 nights on our behalf. She informed them that we would be there in 5... More

The tourist Information booked us into this hotel. The position is brilliant but the standard is only mediocre. The big problem is parking. We could not even unload at the hotel because the street was busy. We were told there was free parking nearby but even after driving round and round we could not find it. We finaly parked in... On arrival at this hotel we found it difficult to park anywhere to unload items of lugage from the car, you just have to pull up outside on a set of traffic lights and dash your items into reception. The nearest carpark is a pay and display and very expensive, but only a few yards further around the corner we... More
