This hotel has just been renovated. It provides a nice base for visiting the French countryside, La Rochelle, Cognac, and Bordeaux. It is also a nice business hotel, and has many business guests during the week. The breakfast was good, with many options. The bed was firm, european style. English is spoken well by the desk staff.
