Superb resort for an away-from-it-all holiday, romantic weekend, honeymoon, etc. In a quiet location beside a beautiful white sand beach. Our room, an oceanfront suite, was spacious and comfortable, with aircon and tea/coffee making facilities. The large bathroom included an effective electric shower. Wifi in the room worked very well too. Service during our (unfortunately) short stay was very helpful... More

Without a doubt one of the best hotel - service, room, location, amenities - all first class. There for 8 nights. Staff was always helpful, cheerful and filled every need. I have been visiting Asia for 5 years and this experience tops them all. Relaxation holiday in a magnificant setting. Only problem with staying here is hard to stay anywhere... More

Was above our backpacker budget, but my other half wanted somewhere quiet to work, and I wanted somewhere to chill out. Buddie's place was amazing and goes the extra mile. We were treated like part of the family, the staff are so friendly (and the dogs!), nothing is too much trouble - we had the place to ourselves, the beach... More

We stayed there for our first week of vacation in the Philippines. The staff made us feel as if we were there private guests more so than customers. Service level was great and the owner was very helpful arranging diving trips. The restaurant offers great local fresh food - we ate very well all week and were never sick. You... More

If you a looking for a simple, quiet, at home hotel, this may be a good choice. The employees are friendly and nice. Their restaurant is more like you've been invited to a friends home, not fancy more of a handmade meal. The rooms are not fancy either but it feels more like staying at a friends place or something.... More

First of all, I would like to let you know, it's not a place for everyone. It is on Anda beach (while most amenities are at Alona beach). You can't even find a good drug store at Anda, we were able to purchase something to aid the sunburn only at the nearby city (can't remember its name though). So I... More

We stayed at Vitamin Sea for 7 nights in January 2013 and absolutely loved it. Admittedly, it's not completely finished yet and the mini-bar and TV mentioned on Agoda are not yet up. But, on the other hand - who needs a mini bar when you have a beach bar just 20 m away, and a TV is unneccessary when... More

We have stayed for 3 nights in this resort. The taxiride takes almost 2 hours from Tagbilaran, but its worth it. The owner has two big dogs, that make the place safe. The rooms era really big and new. The beach is beautiful and lonely, olthough the water is because of the seagrass not good for swimming. The employees are... More

After several hours riding on a motorcycle from the other side of Bohol to Anda, my husband and I were ready for a break, but although we looked into several other hotels in the area we couldn't seem to find a nice place to stay until we bumped into Vitamin Sea. This March 2012 the place was still under construction,... More

Recently stayed at the Vitamin Sea. The resort is a hidden gem on some of the most breathtaking coastline in the whole of Asia. Plenty to do from swimming in crystal clear water, snorkling, diving, cave swimming, waterfalls etc. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the food is great. Buddy and Annie are great hosts and the resort... More
