We just enjoyed a fantastic weekend at this B&B. Its located in a tiny village about 10mins drive from the town of Laon. Laon itself has lots of old Medieval buildings and this B&B and location is in the same theme. If you want to stay somewhere "authentically french", quiet and rustic then this is the place for you.

The rooms are decorated simply and prettily ( wall to wall roses) and have a small ensuite bathroom with standing shower. Ok its not 4* luxury but for €55 a night thats not what you expect and thats not the reason you would choose to stay here.

The reasons to stay here are the fact that the couple who run it are friendly, helpful ( speak english and can recommend many local restaurants) yet are non intrusive. They have a gorgeous home with adjoining lake and countryside. Its the perfect homely french experience with crisp white sheets to boot.
