Stayed here on Sunday night on the way back from a flying trip to Germany, having stayed here a few years ago. Must say that in the meantime they havn't spent any money on the place, but it was clean and comfortable. A peculiarity is that there is no key to the outside door & what wasn't explained that a... We arrived late on our journey and were really pleasantly surprised by the friendly welcome and the quirky old hotel. It has seen better days, but somehow adds to its charm, original shabby chic! It's very clean and comfortable and the owner friendly and helpful. We changed our stopover on way back to stay here as enjoyed friendly beer in... More

Hotel conveniently situated in new town close to rail and bus services. Car users be very aware of dodgy car park! Breakfast the best we had in our three week tour through France with magnificent croissants and well ranged buffet style.. Friendly staff very helpful. Would only accept cash payment even though says cards accepted which was a downer on... More

Having read all the other reviews, I think they are all a good reflection of the place. It is well located, and the owner directed us inside the car park. However, as we only used our car in daylight hours, we didn't consider the car park dangerous. The room was clean, yet simply furnished, and the breakfast room delightful. Breakfast... More

I would caution anyone staying at this hotel and travelling by car to avoid the extremely dangerous car park at the rear of the hotel. We stayed here and ended up with one of the front wheels of our vehicle over an unmarked, unlit and unbarricaded concrete ditch between the car park and the wall of the hotel. The owner... More

The hotel was very convenient, near station and restaurants and opposite the funicular station (POMA) where a tram could be caught up to the pretty cathedral and higher medieval settlement on the hill. The rooms had been decorated in an enthusiastic, amateur way which was very attractive and lived up to its artisan-style name. The bathroom was very primitive but... More

Stayed here as a one nighter on way back from after a week in Provence. Easy to find, next to the station and parked in front of hotel. It was a Sunday so charging did not start until 9.00am the following morning. The rooms are all themed and very different. (We had the horse room) A small balcony with wonderful... More

We came upon it by chance. It's really near the train station and very convenient for the old cite. You need to enter the key code next to the front doors to get in, but that's only as the reception desk is not staffed all the time. The room itself was thoughtfully and individually decorated and was very pretty. The... More

This hotel came recommended by several acquaintances who have stopped at it previously. It is ideally situated for visitors arriving by train as it is a stones throw away from the railway station in Laon. It is also immediately opposite the 'POMA', a cable driven tram/train that links the railway station with the 'Centre Ville' My French can politley be... More
