There is an intimate atmosphere about this hotel, partly because it is smaller than many, and partly because the staff seem to have a philosophy of trying to make each guest feel special. This was our first night of a two week tour of France having taken the Hull-Zebrugge ferry. It was just the right distance away. Enjoyed the quiet and simple service of this country hostellerie. Only 3 star but the restaurant and wine list makes it a 5 star. Arrived hungry and tired in very hot weather in July to enjoy one of the best meals and accompanying wines in a long time.
