Amazing campsite. Choose a pitch with a view and wow what a view, could have sat for hours. Pools and facilities lovely. Well run and friendly. The site was not too big with plenty to keep you occupied. Will be returning.

This campsite is a wee way from the town of saumur but has fantastic facilities-pool, bar, restaurant, small grocery needs, small gym and wi fi throughout the camp. Great sized pitches and amazing views over the river! Would recommend hiring bikes to explore the area!

Wonderfully welcome and friendly site, the super pitches with drainage and running water make this a home from home the only difference is it is in the middle of paradise. Fantastic restaurants abound and truly spoil you for choice. You could make the wineries into a holiday on their own but there is so much else to see. Make sure... More

Just the place to go out of season. lovely, quiet and facilities very clean. We had one of the pitches overlooking the Loire and it was a delight to sit in the morning sun soaking up the view. Great cycling in the area, both along the river and in the woods, farms, vineyards and small villages in the area. Only... More

We stayed for two weeks in August 2010 and found the campsite to be lovely. The outside pools were a little on the cool side for my liking but the kids loved them. There was a covered over outdoor pool too which was nice and big but there was no shallow end as such, great for jumping and diving though.... More

I love this campsite. It is in a great location and feels very safe for the children to run around on their own As it is not too big. So they are never far away. Resident pony trips around the camp where in enjoyed. Picture came to the camp with lovely produce an account has their own pizza oven We... More

What ever you do. Do not go out of season. We went early June last year and found most of the facilities not in use. No shop, no restaurant and the site looked tired and run down. We have been going there for a very long time and have always been pleased but over the years the site has been... More

We have stayed here as a family four times and each time have a wonderful time. We will return again this year for the relaxed and quite environment. The pools are lovely and the covered pool means you can swim even when the weather isn't great. Lots to do on site but no annoying or noisy activities like in Eurocamps.... More

This is a really lovely campsite, relaxed, friendly and great for young children. It is exceptionally clean and a lovely place to enjoy a holiday in the Loire Valley. Saumur is a beautiful place, great for food and the local bubbly and this is the perfect campsite to enjoy your holiday in this area.

Wonderful site ideal for visiting Saumur, the place where both Napoleon and Wesley (later to become the Duke of Wellington) trained. The site is high on the side of the Loire valley with amazing views across the river to the forest beyond. Facilities are excellent, clean and well serviced. The restaurant serves good quality food at very reasonable prices and... More
