What a nice experience, beyond our expectations. Engaged, attentive owner. Unique in design and utilization of an old and venerable house of prayer. Across the street from a beautiful park. Convenient to the train station. GO !

The Sozo is housed in a former church and shares a parking lot with a convent & school. Everything inside is ultra-modern, including the bird-winged lights in the central lobby. Breakfast was very good and included. The hotel is located next to the town's park and is only a short 10 minute walk from the Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne.... More

We absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely go back. The room was beautiful and serenely quiet. It was a perfect mix of ancient and modern! The staff were superb and could not do enough to make sure we were well looked after. They were helpful without being overbearing or intrusive. The breakfast was superb and we didn't want to... More

Just 3 floors for that very unusual hotel in an old church. Rooms are not really big but what a charming place. The Bed is soft and comfortable. The Bathroom is optimized Quiet situation next to the botanic garden and close to the center by walk. The service is absolutely exceptional. Friendly , efficient, helpful staff Breakfast is really good... More

We found Hotel Sozo online and it looked good and the reviews were good, so we booked it. What a great choice that was! Converted over several years from an old church, the hotel is a cozy and contemporary place to stay. Modern elements and modern art are combined with the architecture of the old church. The combination is magnificent.... More

What a gem! Tucked away quietly in a converted former chapel yet just a short stroll away from all that Nantes has to offer, this is the kind of hotel I always look for but rarely find. The renovation is immaculate and has retained as many original features of the chapel as possible. Rooms are fairly small yet meticulously thought... More

We stayed in Sozo Seduction for 6 nights. I must say it is a beautiful and meaningful hotel, from her history , her transformation, her new design, in great details. As we travelled with my boy of 6-years-old, I found we could have all kinds of supports from the Sozo team. They got excellent ideas for kids, they knew kids... More

A modern boutique hotel situated next to the botanical garden but a bit of a walk to the city centre (including the chateau and cathedral). The room was nicely appointed though the raison d'être for the hotel (being a converted church) is lost in translation to a modern hotel. I would not stay here for staying in an old church... More

I can't find words to qualify this hotel since it is simply exceptional. It is one the very best and most original hotel we have ever been to. You'll never encounter such an incredible setting : a 19th century chapel with its vaults and stained glasses..We had read a lot about it before and saw the hotel advertised on the... More

A gorgeous converted monastery, great location, quiet, quirky in a good way, modern. Excellent service of top top quality. Not the largest of rooms, or at least not in my case, and not the best breakfast ever, altho trying. But the welcome from the staff and the general way in which the hotel is laid out is great.
