With such an amazing transformation from a semi-derelict chapel into a light, bright, interesting hotel, my normal rating would have been very good. There were 4 of us and we booked 2 of the better i.e. more expensive rooms and had a "deal"...i.e. 180 euros no cancellation and no breakfast. (The breakfast costs 17 euros each The public rooms are... More

We were a group of 3 staying there for business. The rooms are slightly too small, but the entrance is great. It's clean , the breakfast great and very fresh. We enjoyed the stay . From my perspective the rooms could have been slightly bigger and more functional. The remaining church elements in the rooms as great. The showers are... More

We spent a weekend at Hotel Sozo and used it as a base to explore Nantes. The hotel is a converted church and has retained many of the original features whilst creating a contemporary modern feel for this boutique hotel. Think Bauhaus meets Gothic...but it works rather well! Our room was a strange shape and not generous in size, though... More

My husband and I enjoyed our four night stay at the beautiful Hotel Sozo. Situated in and old church, it has all the charm of old with contemporary decor. The rooms are small but cleverly designed and we managed to fit in. We loved the decor and beautiful simplicity of the design and the color coordinated amenities. The staff is... More

This relatively new hotel was a pleasure to stay at. we had a very pleasant welcome and were shown all the facilities both common and particular to our room. The location was very quiet and very handy for the Superb Botanical gardens across the road. Our room was well equipped and the bed was super comfy. Well worth a stay.

This amazing hotel is nicely decorated. Perfect combination of historic architecture and modern commodities. Love it! Despite some of the room amenities are quite small the overall experience was really fantastic. The staff was also extremely useful and breakfast was delicious.

Great night and morning with birds singing and distant church bells. A walk away is the Botanical Garden and the The Dutchesses Anne of Bretagne Castel with multiligual audio guided history of Nantes and region, not to be missed. Skip the Maritime Museum for other sites...

As almost everyone has commented this is a spectacular hotel conversion. We stayed there for three days last week as part of an organised group holiday and paid for an upgrade to Room 308 - complete with its own stained glass window. Blissfully quiet at night, the bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. And very... More

This hotel is a bit quirky, being in a old church. But there is nothing old inside. It is ultra modern and stylish. The staff are very attentive and look after your every need. The rooms were nice and clean (we had Room 303), and the place is ideally located not far from the SNCF railway station (Gare Nantes), Tram... More
