My husband and I recently stayed here for 3 nights visiting our daughter who is studying in Nantes. The hotel was perfectly situated to her apartment, and to transportation to get around Nantes. Just spent a pleasant four days in Nantes at this smashing little hotel. Distinctive decor and friendly service made it a real pleasure. Run pretty well single handed by a young chap who has clearly worked very hard to understand what sets a place apart - be it two star or five star. Nice breakfast too. We stayed at the Hotel St Yves on our way down to the Dordogne. What a find. The room was charming, clean and individual with long windows overlooking a lovely garden with comfortable outdoor seating. The proprietors were helpful and hospitable and the breakfast was lovely. We've just got back from a wonderul 2 night stay at the Saint-Yves. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite and our room was just what we wanted, with lots of well thought out detail.
