Just one day in advance we were looking for somewhere to stay en route to Calais for our last night in France. Le Mans wasn't our first choice but everywhere else we looked was fully booked. The TA reviews of the Chantecler were good so we took the plunge and we were so pleased we did. The hotel is simple... More

We stayed for an entire week at the hotel. We had a family suite to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children. The suite was still very spacious and offered a lot of storage area. The decoration is simple, the bathroom a little outdated but everything was very clean. The staff and management were extremely nice and full of attentions. The... More

We stayed one night at this hotel, recommended by a family member. Great location 10 mins walk from Les Mans old town which is very pretty. Hotel modern, clean and staff very helpful. Free car park at the front of the hotel, which was handy, no air con but rooms modern, with every facility required for an over night stay.... More

We broke down and were sent here by our insurance company. When we arrived we parked outside the front on the road and a man came out (he'd seen us pull up through a window) and asked us if we were staying and directed us to their parking accessed from the other side of the hotel. The hotel itself appears... More

Didnt really expect A/C at this price and wasnt disappointed, rooms very hot in summer but probably cosy in winter. Staff were very good and helpful. Room clean and recently refurbished. Thought it might be noisy with wooden floors but no problems at all. Restaurant next door closed for August but many others nearby. Try the Alsatian one on the... More

I was a bit worried when i booked this hotel due to some reviews on TA but went ahead anyway. Must say it was a great little hotel for the price.I think it has had a very recent revamp as all the rooms we had were freshly painted (3) and in good order. Free parking was a plus as this... More

This was a two night business stay. This Hotel is very old, and showing its age, in the middle of the city. The entire staff is friendly and efficient. The Hotel has free parking, but when I arrived on my first night there were at least 5 spaces open, and I couldn’t fit in any of them. No one parked... More

We stayed at this hotel in late May as part of our vacation in France. The location of the hotel is great! It is a few blocks from the train station and it is also located near a tram stop. The tram will take you to various place in Le Mans. There is a small grocery store about a couple... More

Hidden away on the myriad of small streets 5 mins from the station. Make sure you know where you are going and which station exit to take otherwise you might take some time to find the hotel. Room was spacious although furntiure an decor was a little dated. Bathroom was newer and clean. Only a short walk to the old... More
