We have stayed in this hotel 3 times in the last 6 months. They have a junior suite with a mezzanine with 2 single beds, ideal for a family of four. Very reasonably priced and a suberb central location. There is parking just along the side road, so no need to pay for their car park. Breakfast, although pricey is... More

Stayed here a couple of times on business, rooms are always clean, comfortable and hotel is well located for walk to nearby restaurants and bars in the old town of Le Mans. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice usual cheese and meats etc. Car parking is €11 per night and the car park can get full quickly as there... More

Arriving after a stressful trip round the Le Mans one way system and dragging our luggage up to reception, we were told the room we had booked and paid for was not available because it was 'dark' and we had been booked into another hotel. This we were informed had very little parking (9 places) and we could leave the... More

We needed a dog friendly hotel with secure parking in Le Mans for a stopover on way to the euro-tunnel from Bordeaux, and the Mercure looked suitable. It was actually very comfortable and very good value. We had a large suite at less cost than a standard room in a Relais and Chateaux, free secure parking, reasonable wifi, low charges... More

My wife and I stayed for one night at this hotel. We had a Privilege Room which was large and superking sized bed was very comfortable. Our en-suite shower room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was charged at 14.5 euro each, and although it was good, it was the most charged by any of the hotels on out travels. The... More

Stayed overnight on our way to the bender, excellent hotel for comfort, parking securely and access to the old town where we dined in the evening. Breakfast was worth the money, not just continental but cooked food too, much to the delight of my husband who does not consider continental breakfasts to count as a breakfast! Would stay again, staff... More

The Mercure is within about 5 - 10 minutes walk of the Plantagenet old town, which is why we stopped overnight. There is underground parking ( tight entrance and chargeable but convenient and secure). The hotel is in an imposing old mansion house, converted to an insurance office and now an hotel. There are some very interesting features and a... More

The building is very nice and the staff try to be friendly.. Okay, I started this review of with the positives, but that's really all I can come up with. This hotel is understaffed and unprofessional to say the least. I booked this hotel because it suppose to be 850 meters from the Le Mans Racing tracks as said on... More

Dear Mr Wolters, First of all , i'm really sorry for the missunderstanding about the distance to the race track, unfortunately we have so many web site and we haven't notice this. You may haven't noticed it but we did 15% off on the room rate for this incident. We are sorry that the service did not meet your expectations,... More

Ideally situated a short walk from the Place de Republique (shops and restaurants) and the magnificent cathedral this is a well modernised hotel in an imposing building which started life as an Insurance Company HQ .The underground parking is easily accessed and secure which is a real bonus in a city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful and we... More

We booked a family room which turned out to be two adjacent rooms which was excellent as our children are of an age that we felt comfortable them being seperated from us, however if they were younger this may not have been the case. The hotel was immaculate throughout, as were the rooms, the reception staff were very helpful, well... More
