A bit overpriced like everything in La Baule, but all in all a good hotel. Our family room was spacious and clean. I liked the small refrigerator in the room and the good wifi connection. The location is within easy walking distance from the train station, the center and most important of all: the beach. The hotel is decorated in... More

Nice little hotel. Very nice staff. The rooms aren't too big but good enough for the price you pay. Hotel has a own parking ground. The parking ground is a little bit hard to find since it's in the back in a labyrinth of one direction streets.

I spent the Christmas 2011 and New year at this hotel and liked it so much I was determined to return. I did so in January this year and spent four wonderful weeks relaxing and recuperating from a long illness. The hotel was in the process of being very beautifully refurbished and I shall return again to see the result... More

The hotel Des Dunes is ideally situated, being near the station, the market place, the principal shopping district and the beach. My room was extremely clean, the bed very comfortable and the modern bathroom had been completely refurbished. The excellent buffet breakfast was served in a very pleasant dining room, also completely refurbished. The manager and his team were very... More

Unfortunately there are only 2 good things i can say about this hotel... 1) The female receptionist is very helpful, very polite and very understanding. 2) The hotel has a good location in general. However, myself and my husband booked this hotel for 1 week 29th July - 6th August, we eventually arrived at the hotel at 9.30 pm where... More

We stayed here for 1 night on our way through France. The room was only 55 euros for a night so we could not complain about the price. The reception staff were polite and helpful and the hotel is situated in the middle of the town. The rooms were very small and very run down and old. The bed was... More

Dear Sir, We do thank you for your comment. You stayed in a standard room. All of them wil be renovated in december 2011. Classic room (extra charge of 10 euros) and superior room (+15euros) are already renovated. Our objective is to keep the hotel very clean and guarantee value for money. The breakfast is very imorpant for us and... More

Good location and a short walk to the main Restaurant and sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and the shower room recently re-furbished. My partner had left his mobile in the room, we contact the hotel and asked if they would post the phone to us. They kindly posted the phone to us. We... More

Close to the main street and the market place and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The free parking is very welcome in this town. Breakfast is excellent for France. The rooms at the backside are quiet. Friendly owners. Next door, there is a very good restaurant: The Loft.

We were welcomed to the hotel by the receptionist and had left the car in the secure car park. Our room was in the annexe and up a flight of stairs although the lighting to our room needed for you to wish on before descending down 3 stairs. Unfortunetly I didnt see the stairs and tripped. The room was clean... More
