As I write this review, we are sitting in the sun room eating a fresh breakfast of pastries and breads, whilst looking out over the garden listening to the morning song of local birds. Simply lovely. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet retreat. Five stars.

Rouen is an unexpectedly beautiful city with a lot ot do and see. Le Clos Jouvenet made the city even more special. Mme De Witte was a complete joy. Knowledgeable, friendly and the breakfasts were perfect. I'd go back to Rouen just to stay there.

After visiting Monet's gardens/house . . Le Clos Jouvenet allowed us another reprieve from driving and touring . . .a beautifully restored house . . . an oasis in the city of Rouen. Catherine welcomed us with a drink of cider and a list of attractions and several suggestions for supper. We walked into the city for a short tour... More

Catherine is an excellent hostess - we were welcomed with cider and tea on arrival and then we talked about the best attractions in Rouen. We asked for advice on restaurants where we could enjoy simple traditional food and the recommended restaurant was just right. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was a wonderful combination of fresh baked... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights while attending the auto retro show at the Zenith Park. I was welcomed with a glass of cider and a couple of maps showing places to eat in Rouen. The room & bathroom were extremely spacious and very comfortable. The villa is situated in a quiet part of Rouen in its own grounds... More

Catherine's residence is better than the brief comments herein noted, Le Chat excellent as an assistant hostess, the food for breakfast brilliant so we ate all we could with lashings of pot coffee delivered before we could empty it, there are many choices. As Hostess Catherine welcomes and puts one at ease with information each group at a time, with... More

We stayed at this wonderful B&B for 4 nights in May 2014. The host Catherine was very welcoming. We were met and offered refreshments which we most welcome.
