Clos Jouvenet is certainly one of the very best B&Bs we have stayed at. Catherine is a genuinely welcoming person who makes every effort to ensure both her guest's comfort and that they get the most out of their stay in Rouen. The house is lovely, the gardens are lovely and the rooms beautifully appointed with spacious bathrooms. It is... More

We cannot say enough about our visit to Rouen for two nights in mid-April and our stay at Le Clos Juvenet. We were made to feel very welcome beginning with Catherine offering us drinks or tea in the sitting room while she shared information on what to see in Rouen, how to walk to the town center, and different restaurants.... There is a good reason this is number one. Catherine, the lovely hostess, has done a fantastic job at making this B&B comfortable. The rooms are gorgeous as is the rest of the property including the gardens which the bedrooms look over. Our room had a great bathroom too with a big bath. On arrival we were greeted with the... Just returned from two nights at Le Clos Jouvenet and can confirm unequivocally all the positive things that have already been said about the property and its owner. Unfortunately I did not get to meet Baudoin, but his wife, Catherine de Witte, had more charm and warmth than most couples have combined. I rarely stay at B&B's but did so... More

We stayed at Le Clos Jouvenet for only one night but wished it had been for longer. A beautiful three-story house in a quiet residential area. A fifteen minute walk from the center of Rouen (and we were pushing a stroller). Baudoin greeted us at the door and helped us carry our luggage to the third floor. The two rooms... More

We stayed there for two nights. A little hard to find without a sat nav, but beautifully done out. The reception from the owner was gracious and kind, a very nice glass of local cider whilst she told us what one could see and do. A very helpful map, especially of places to eat, was provided. The accommodation was of... More

We sayed for 5 nights at the end of March and would highly recommend this beautiful and very upmarket B and B. The house is stunning. The decor and furnishings chosen with care by a proprietor with a wonderful sense of period and style. But it is certainly not a case of style over substance as our room was also... More

I chose to stay here on Dec 1st 2011, because of the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and I was thrilled with the experience. I was travelling with my elderly parents (83 years) and wanted the trip to be perfect, Catherine went out of her way to help me achieve that. She helped with advice for getting around Rouen, and... When we were planning our trip through France, we decided to go with Le Clos Jouvenet because of the many position reviews on Tripadvisor. This was without doubt THE best B&B we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in many all throughout the world. Catherine is an absolute delight - elegant, warm and hospitable. When we left...
