From the booking in procedure we were made welcome by the French lady owner (unfortunately we did not find out her name). The hotel is in a great central location for visiting all of the City including the beautiful Cathederal, and is super value compared to other local hotels. Our room (22) on the second floor was a good size,... More

Great location for walking into the city centre - less than 5 minutes. Clean comfortable room, and quiet. The new owners are starting a programme of renovation and some of the décor is a little dated and tired, but this didn't take away from the charm of the hotel and the wonderful warm welcome we had from the hosts. The... More

Used this hotel as an overnight stop for 3 of us so had a triple room. It was just ok for a one night stopover as I think I would've been disappointed if I had to stay any longer. Room was quite small and a bit tired looking although bedlinen was fresh and crisp. The bathroom was very dated and... More

We spent a night here on the way back from south-west France, and didn't expect much given the hotel seemed significantly cheaper than others in the city. We had a pleasant surprise - the owners bought the hotel last year and have been refurbishing it, so our rooms were comfortable and fresh and there was none of the slightly shabby... More

We had a quadruple room on the top floor. It was comfortable clean and quiet. Loads of toiletries shower gel toothpaste and toothbrushes. The breakfast was a good selection. The table we sat at for breakfast was very fussy and didnt give much room to eat. The receptionist was excellent and recommended the light show at the Cathedral which was... More

We stayed in the Hotel Bonaparte for 2 nights early May 2014. We found the rooms clean and generally well presented. Our travelling companions had a room overlooking the street that had been recently redecorated. It was spacious and wells equipped. Ours was overlooking a small courtyard and was a bit smaller. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We... More

The room was very cosy, with lovely soft pillows and all the bathroom toiletries anyone could require. A lot of thought and effort has gone into the refurbishment of the rooms, but a bit more simplicity in the wallpaper, tiling and decoration might have been better. Room quite dark and inadequate lighting. Breakfast is extra but it is delicious and... More

This hotel is very nice, quiet and comfortable ! Easy to access, not really expensive and the service was very good. The atmosphere is warm even if the wallpaper is not very well stuck! I forgot my toothbrush and luckily there was one in the bathroom!

The hotel is cosy and our room was clean and basic. We paid around 65e for the night which I think was quite a lot for this room. There are car parking spaces available (remember to pre-book since there are only 7 spots) and it is a tight squeeze for a car with a steep ramp. Hosts were helpful and... More

Great location to visit Rouen Friendly staff Clean and comfortable room - a bit small but that is fair given the very low price Wifi is free but tended to disconnect often on an iPad Breakfast a bit expensive
