We stayed 2 nights in October 2014 based on TA reviews. Our room was large and comfortable. We were travelling with friends who had private arrangements after the first night and so we were without a car that day. Our hostess Elisabeth drove us to the bus for a day in Rouen, and was there to pick us up on our... More

We stayed overnight on the way to and from our holiday in the south of France. I cannot fault any part of our stay. The room was beautiful, the breakfast plentiful and delicious and hospitality superb. We also took advantage of the evening meal (complete with bottle of wine) which was delicious and very good value. Would definitely stay again... More

We chose La Parenthese due to the availability of a "disabled" room suitable for my 88 year old M in L. We stayed 3 nights which were perfect in every way. The accommodation is immaculate, clean, comfortable, we all had great "sleeps"! We dined with Elizabeth and her 2 boys on our first night, the food was very tasty and... More

Our two nights at La Parenthèse Normande made a wonderful base for exploring Normandy. The B&B is comfortable and lovely, in a quiet village outside Rouen. We enjoyed exploring the gardens on the property (complete with grazing bunnies), and the open bedroom design and large windows of our bedroom made it seem as if we were part of it all... More

About 25 minutes outside of the city of Rouen, in the village of La Neuville-Chant-d'Oisel, La Parenthèse Normande sits among quiet farmland and lush gardens. We stayed in a family suite that was sheer perfection in style and comfort. A small house off the main house is divided into two suites. The building is brick, but the front wall is... More

We stayed one night to break up our journey, and I'm so glad we found this B and B. I contacted Elisabeth directly and she got back to me very quickly by phone, text and email. It was very easy to book. Unfortunately there was a problem with the eurotunnel and we were delayed by about 8 hours, arriving at... More

A really lovely B&B in a peaceful, rural village but within reasonable distance to Rouen (25 mins) although the host did tell us about a very charming and picturesque village called Lyons la Foret which was exactly as described. Sadly we didn't have enough time to explore this really lovely area but would certainly consider staying here again. Immaculate rooms,... More

Amazing discovery, I am so glad we spent here 3 nights during (my) long bday weekend in Normandy...The property is comfy+cozy (with huge&beautiful garden), the room was spacy and the bed (+pillow) top-quality, the hosts are SO charming, warm and more than helpful! Our stay was simply 5stars, we got tons of insider-tips that allowed us to have a great... More

This is a gem - a quiet village outside of Rouen with a great boulangerie combined with first class accommodation. Elisabeth and Christophe are the perfect hosts with their garden providing 100% organic fruit, vegetables and herbs. You'll love the rabbits. The rooms are very well laid out and nicely furnished. Breakfast is in the kitchen of the main house... More

We stayed at La Parenthese Normandy for our second wedding anniversary and it was perfect. It is about 20 minutes drive outside of Rouen in unspoilt countryside in a very peacful French village. The house and gardens are beautiful and you really feel that you have gotten away from the stress of civilisation. The best bit of the stay was... More
