Wanting to stop somewhere for lunch, while visiting Rouen, we had been told of Le Vieux Carre but finding it was another matter! Hidden in a little courtyard was this pretty hotel which offered lunch at very reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food excellent and atmosphere very relaxing! Well worth a visit - if you can find it!

Good city centre location but with a quiet and pleasant room. You can park nearby in the multistorey or on the street. Lovely breakfast with good coffee, fresh croissants and yoghurt in the atmospheric salon du thé!

read good reviews about it before i booked it. the walk from the train station to the hotel was not too difficult but is quite a distance if you are dragging luggage and not a youth. we got a room on an upper floor and without lifts, was quite a struggle. the staff is reasonably welcoming but one gets the... We discovered this quaint hotel in the old part of Rouen. There is no lift but you only have to get your bags up and down the stairs once so that was no problem. We did not have a booking but managed to get a room overlooking the courtyard. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly. Downstairs there is... More

We stayed here for 2nights in August, and chose it specifically because we wanted something a little more authentic rather than a more modern hotel. The location was great, the service friendly enough (if a little sparse, but then it is more of a tea rooms with a place to sleep) and the room was comfortable and clean. The range... More

This no entry for the restaurant part of this hotel, and this review is about the restaurant. They do < 15€ lunchtime formula (starter & main, or main & dessert), which is simple, quiches, crumbles, omelettes with salad, etc including a galss of wine. It's great value for money, there's a small courtyard which is very pleasant and the inside... More

The hotel was in a perfect location right in the centre Rouen with restaurants close by. Not far for the train station either a 5 to 10 min walk even quicker taxi under 10 euros. The hotel court yard is amazing. We had a lovely view of the church out our attic window. Value for money, maybe the mattresses might... More

This was a fun quirky hotel in the center of old town in Rouen. Good location for seeing the sites and reasonably priced. Usual breakfast (bread, jam, juice and coffee) included with the room. Nice courtyard entrance, lobby a little dark, but pleasant. Rooms are a littly quirky, but adequate. Staff was pleasant and helpful...even though the bar and restaurant... More
