Based on reviews I almost cancelled my reservation. I am glad I didn't! There is some confusion about hotels on-line. If you are reading about underground parking, a shopping centre and tram across the street, this is not the hotel. The Ibis budget Rouen Rive Gauche is a bit further from the old town and has a secured ground level... More

It's ok to stay in Rouen if you don't want to spen to much money on accomodation; Rooms are clean. Service it's ok. It's nice to stay with friends or children. A bit far from Center of Rouen and nothing around if you wanna get something to eat.

We booked the hotel using Trip Advisor reviews but think I must have been swayed by the location which is near St Sever where I needed to be. But, it is a budget Ibis and really a budget hotel. Room was tiny, walls need a paint, carpet needs cleaning and r replacement - in fact, due for a thorough refurbishment.... More

My husband and I stayed here recently with our dog whilst travelling around France. We chose the destination as a stopover on our way to Brittany. We arrived around 9pm but there was no problem accessing the car park once we had our room code for the electric gate. Our credit card allowed us to do an automated check in... More

We stayed here for a one night stop-over on a French road trip. Plus points: * Booked and paid for two double rooms online, so got a good rate (33E per room). Check in was easy and the receptionist spoke good English and was very friendly. * Hotel was clean and tidy but basic (what you would expect for this... More

My smartphone suggested some other budget hotels, but when we saw then and their neighborhoods we drove on, and were happy to find the Ibis Budget. Room was very small, and bathroom diminutive, as typical of Ibis Budget hotels. But if you want, as we did, clean sheets for a night's rest and some fenced in security for your car,... More

My wife and I always stay here for 1 or 2 days when we visit Rouen. It's about 40 minutes walk from the centre ville, but easily accessible by the frequent metro for 1.50 Euros per person each way. The hotel is on a busy, noisy road and has no climate control (air conditioning), so insist on a room at... More
