While our room was not particularly spacious or elegant, it was comfortable and clean. However, the location was superb! We were within walking distance of shopping, tourist attractions, and great restaurants. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. When our favorite restaurant was no longer opened, we were given several suggestions for dinner. The breakfast was fantastic!

We spent two nights here over the Easter weekend. Excellent location for sightseeing and lovely friendly staff. The room we had was compact but very clean and comfortable. Quiet at night. We didn't have breakfast but it looked good and nice bright dining room. Also a nice little courtyard to sit in. Parking is available nearby which was safe and... More

Good size double room but had a very small bathroom. Ok for me as I was on my own. Room was pleasant but nothing special. Bed was a bit soft for me. Staff helpful. Main attraction is the location, seconds from the cathedral and close to the hundreds of cafes, shops and restaurants in the centre of Rouen.

If you are looking for a neat, new, corporate style hotel with homogeneous rooms then this is not the place for you. However, if you like something with character, true French style and a great location in the very heart of the old district of Rouen, then you have found it! Several other people have commented on noise from the... More

It promised a lot from the exterior and website but our dated room with a toilet in a cupboard soon brought us down to earth! Rouen itself was quaint and very interesting, we had a great meal by the cathedral. Our rooms however were hot and noisy. No aircon and lots of street noise - well it is in the... More

Road trip with youngest son. I drove here, and have no sense of direction, sat nav found it fine. It has no parking but thee is a P 3rd street on the right that costs €13 for 24 hrs. The hotel is tucked away amongst the historic streets with a view of the cathedral. Brilliant posstion. Staff are helpful. And... More

I have stayed in this hotel seven times if I remember correctly. All stays except for the latest one in Feb 2014 have been with my ice skating team. All stays have been during French Cup (a big, international, world class synchronized ice skating event) that fills up the town with ice skating teams. This place is not one of... More

Stayed only 1 night. Difficult to find if you have a hirecar. Having said that room was comfortable and clean. Staff helpful, location great. Only issue was had a room that overlooked the street, nice view but being saturday night street noise very prominient till early hours of am. Didn't do breakfast so cant comment. Ambience of the hotel great.

This boutique hotel is in the ideal spot to explore Rouen on foot. Right next to the cathedral, easy walking distance of the market, Jean D'Arc memorial and many, many restaurants and bars. Staff were friendly and endured my amateurish attempts at French without laughing.. all spoke English anyway. The only drawback was no parking.. we had to park our... More

We only expected to stay an afternoon, needing to leave early the next day. We drove into Rouen, in the rain, and immediately realized we could not pull up the the front door because the hotel is on a pedestrian only street. Later we learned there is a way to get there, a "back way," that allows you to drive... More
