This 3 star charmer sits next to Rouen's famous cathedral and is a very traditional French hotel with all the quirks and pleasures that entails. The rooms are larger than average (from the 3 we saw) but as each one is different, depending on the vagaries of the building some may be better than others. There is a lovely central... More

Very French, with a delicious breakfast right in the city center. Rooms are grouped around a small courtyard garden which makes them very quiet at night. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Afternoon tea in the garden is delightful. A little bit "shabby chic" but we will definitely be back again

Just a lovely little hotel this with a quaint central courtyard and a stunning dining room serving a fantastic French breakfast. Rooms were clean and large and well equipped. The location is perfect and if you get chance go and see the lights display at the Cathedral at 10 pm. It is truly awesome.

The hotel is in a great location - a couple of minutes' walk from the Rouen cathedral. There's not a lot else going for it, I'm afraid. The room is small and quite tired; the service, a bit lackluster; and breakfast is good and solid, but, at 20 Euros per person, you would expect a lot better.

We stayed at the hotel 3 night. The location is the best. Just near the cathedral, 5 min walk from the river in the middle of the old city. Rooms are not big; needs redecoeation. Bath also could use a facelift. The coredors needs more light. We didnt try the beakfast so I cant comment about it. No parking for... More

We spent three nights at this very central, very French hotel right beside the Cathedral walls. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and our room which was large and very comfortable overlooked the lovely tranquil courtyard. We travelled by train and took a taxi to/from the station which was quite reasonable and also visited Giverney by train and bus. The... More

It was fantastic to stay so very close to both the cathedral at Rouen and the Eglise de Saint Maclou. Staff were very helpful and spoke English despite my dubious attempts at French. I was given a helpful map that we couldn't have done without, of the city. The rooms were clean and fine for our overnight stay. The only... More

When our taxi driver dropped us off at the opening to an alley and told us the hotel was down the way we were a bit taken aback. What we found was a friendly staff and a decent hotel. The room was small and quaint but clean and adequate. The toilet would not flush well at all (a major drawback)... More

An old tutor style building located just across from the amazing gothic styled cathedral ( as the name suggests). Rooms are quintessential old style French, complete with lovely wallpaper, European pillows and a comfortable queen bed. A note: the lift goes to the fourth floor only of five floors and is accessed across the courtyard from the reception, up six... More

travelled with friends and fortunately the hotel map was first class, so hotel easy to find. at first it seemed it would be in a noisy part, but no bells and quiet during night. receptionist very helpful. the only drawback was our room was on the 3rd floor, and being pensioners it was very difficult to carry bags up winding...
