Secure underground parking. Access via very narrow streets, and if you have a long car the garage itself has a very difficult (read 5-7 point) turn underground to get to the parking level. The hotel location is ideal in the heart of historic Rouen. Easy walk to the Cathedral and the old square. Rooms are bulk standard Mecure, modern hotel.... More

We stayed here for just one night during a trip to Normandy. Like some other reviewers, we had to rely on our satnav to find the hotel but preparation beforehand meant this was not a problem, the entrance to the underground car park is a bit of squeeze for the larger car, but the car park has two levels, one... A very nice hotel next to the cathedral square. Challenging to drive to and the underground car park a bit stressful. Great original exterior and the rooms more than adequate. The common areas/bar lack a bit of atmosphere and no restaurant offering evening meals which is a problem Sundays when nothing much in town is open.

I hadn't stayed in this Hotel for more than 20years and it was good to return. Located in the centre of city next to the Cathedral amazingly the hotel offers underground parking but it's a tricky car park difficult to manoeuvre and preferably your car isn't to big there is a lift from the car to the hotel reception or... We stayed for one night at the Mercure. The location is perfect if you like to walk down town . But this hotel miss ever France charm. What makes a hotel to remember ? The bed and pillows. well these are so poor that you really like to forget that you have sleep here. Can't believe this is a 4... More

The major positive point is that it is very close to all the historical attractions. The rooms were decent. There is only one restaurant. Breakfast was decent. IT is in a quiet location and can walk around the place comfortably.

This was my second stay at the Mercure Rouen Centre Cathedrale. The hotel is tucked in among the old cobbled lanes and part of it looks out straight on to the Cathedral across the laneway. The service was friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and the price modest. If you are looking for a good mid-range hotel in Rouen... More

It's 100% old english library style. The hall, the bar, the restaurant and the rooms. Even the elevator is old fashion. Everything would definitely need a renewal and a much modern look. Now, breakfast is basic but good. For the cheese lovers It is a paradise, as you have a great choice in the morning. The parking is a nightmare,... More

The hotel is in the centre of Rouen and is a really great place to explore the city from. We booked a privilege room with balcony and view of the cathedral. It did have a view of the cathedral but the balcony was more of a shared graveled flat roof with a bit of a step to get onto it.... More

...actually they are all quite pleasing...this one however does make the little things such a delight. ...staff was warm and helpful in an unintrusive way. ...room was spacious upon a small upgrade... ...magic is 5.30a.m. when the seagulls circle around before heading out to sea...the air is sharp and cool...and coffee raises the conscious to heights of delirium. ...wonderful city...made...
