I stayed 3 nights in a single room. Small but quiet and comfortable with a very spacious bathroom/shower. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Kept my luggage even though I'd checked out earlier to allow me to explore Rouen unencumbered before taking the train later. Ambiance informal, hotel manager's tiny dog, likely to welcome you. Food simple and tasty. Lunchtimes... More

First of all the owner was professional but not very welcoming.... The hotel is small and has no lift, so if you have a lot of luggage you should book elsewhere. The room was nice and clean and the hotel well located but the breakfast left a lot to be desired as there was only jam to be had with... More

Although hotel was small, I gotta say the rooms were not. Huge bathroom space, spacious room and bed. Modern deco with all you need. Conveniently located near train station, the rooms are not noisy. Great service from the owner who lives on the same building. Price was very convenient.

taking the nearest hotel to rail station we don't elect to be it such a cool place. stylish, clean, surprisingly quiet, helpful receptionist who lives in the same building - definitely recommended for short stay in Rouen.

I stayed here two years ago and was happy to revisit. It is friendly, very convenient to the station, with good-sized, spotless rooms. The bed was comfortable, water in the bathroom genuinely hot (not always true in hotels), breakfasts both generous and varied. Despite the busy streets around, the hotel is not noisy and I slept well every night. I... More

We arrived at CDG jetlagged as ususal; rented a car and drove to Rouen for our first night in France. Hotel Depart is a combo restaurant with hotel above. We were at first dismayed that it was right across from the train station, it would have been tough to find without our trusty gps! We found that it has no... More

Excellent little hotel near the station and thus easy parking. Breakfast very good value. Seemed to be a one (very pleasant) woman show! Some noise from other guests but minimal and tolerable. Will definitely stay here again when in Rouen.

The appearance of this hotel was so utterly bland that we nearly overshot it. We managed to find refuge in a nearby building site entrance from the hectic flow of native traffic and there it was. Fortuitously, we dropped on some metered street parking that was close by, which cost an arm and a leg. We rang the bell from... More

The hotel was very nice, however it felt more like a B&B. It is small and cosy, and very well located. The room wasn’t huge, but we didn’t need much for a two night stay. It was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was very modern, and a decent size. The shower was great – it was very powerful, and heat... More

My fiancée and I stayed only 1 night as we needed a night sleep on a week-end visiting Rouen. We booked through Booking as the rating on this site is really high for this Hotel, and also the price was very affordable. We book the largest room, which was of a very nice surface area indeed! The room was clean,... More
