The hotel is conveniently located right next to the historical center of Rouen, however be careful with the SatNav guidance. I would recommend asking for the driving instructions from the hotel. The building itself dates back to the 15th century and is obviously of great historical value. The façade and the courtyard are gorgeous and it is even more surprising... More

Our room was lovely but a little out of the way. The staff were very attentive and we will certainly stay there again for longer! The house has been converted in a way we would never see in England and it a little in the style of a Malmaison. The hotel is ideally sited but don't believe your sat nav!

The hotel is a beautiful combination of very modern & very old. The location is fantastic for evening entertainment, I loved walking the streets and doing some people watching while enjoying fantastic food in close proximity to the hotel. The breakfast is very good, I loved the pastries. The reception staff during my stay was very young but I cannot... More

The mixed reviews made me apprehensive about this hotel, but we had a fantastic time here. It is a truly historic building, beautifully restored. The lobby has a strange hallucinogenic ceramic animal thing going on, but the mix of old and new was startling. Because I wanted a bathtub we were immediately upgraded to a room with a bath overlooking... More

Excellence in every aspect: architecture (modern decoration in a very old & preserved building), service, meal. Perfect venue for business purposes with large rooms both for dining and group meetings. Only drawback is lack of parking.

Let's begin by calling it Hotel Bouger because we seriously cannot pronounce it! My French can't be that bad. How do you expect anyone to remember a hotel that they can't even pronounce??? That should have been a warning sign. The positives: Location, location, location…awesome and we always stay in the centre. Gorgeous facade, sufficient breakfast, pool facility was great,... More

Where do we start!!! This place is about as far removed from 5 star as you could possibly get, in every way apart from the exterior of the building. Once through the door it's down hill all the way. Disappoint, disappoint, disappoint. We stayed here for 2 nights just after Christmas as a base to explore Rouen. Check in -... More

We spent just one night in this lovely hotel in the heart of Rouen. The room was beautiful, recently renovated and with plenty of room to spread out. We had a great view of the church next door. The bathroom was huge with a nice walk in shower and separate bathtub. The only odd thing was that the toilet was... More

I loved the hotel and it`s location was absolutely perfect. Rouen is such a beautiful place. I could stay there in the square forever and watch the kiddies play and people stroll... Very French. The hotel staff did not speak English well and were not overly friendly but I don`t require that. I like to be left to myself.

This is definitely NOT a 5 star hotel, if the rooms are anything to go by. First room air con noise like a cricket and second room a bit better but only because further from the bed. Room small and no bath. Needs to have a lot more facilities to bring it anywhere near 5*.
