The hotel is in a very old building but has a curious charm. All the rooms are named after painters instead of being numbered. The room I was in was a twin on the 3rd floor. No lift, so getting my case up to the room was a bit of a drag, but the lack of a lift was advertised... More

A nice alternative to the usual bed factory. Well place in the centre of Rouen within walking distance of plenty of restaurants. However there was no air conditioning in our room and being a city centre hotel it was really too noisy to sleep with the window open. Apart from that this is a pleasant hotel, more interesting that the... More

My friend and I spent two nights in Apil 2014 in this hotel. We loved the idea of naming the rooms after a painter. The room was darling - clean, bathroom clean and had ton of charater. Bodoo, our front desk lady was very friendly and spoke good English. Very centrally located. Merci Boboo

With three floors of charming, clean, comfortable, individually themed rooms depicting the impressionist painters, this hotel offers good value for money in a quiet location. It is within easy walking distance of the railway station, shops, restaurants etc. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and breakfast was also excellent value. Underground parking Is a couple of minutes... More

To commend: clean room, comfortable bed. To notice: small bathroom, no lift and long stairs (inconvenient for elderly people), pretentious interior (impressionist-themed, but without much taste). To reproach: clogged sinks (in both my own and my mom’s room). Overall, average amenities and fairly good location, about 15 min walking from the railway station, 5 min. to the Museum of Fine... Ask for the Turner room second floor as on the side ,has a window in the bathroom that opens giving a good breeze,as the main window in room over main street, can be difficult with the sound of the traffic. Good basic room, good shower, and fair breakfast. Easy walking to the city centre and all the sites and resturants.

We were driving but found the hotel quite easily using the navigator. The rooms were a reasonable size and bed comfortable. room facilities were OK no kettle etc. Very little english spoken but we managed with our little french. Friendly owners. No staff on in the later evening and a key code to get in. Bus stopp close by to... More

If you're looking for an inexpensive, clean and safe hotel, then, you've come to the right place. Each room is named after an impressionist. We stayed in Berthe Morisot room, which was recently repainted and the bathroom updated with modern fixtures. Breakfast was copious and served by a nice gentleman.

There is nothing glamorous about Le Sisley. It's a simple small hotel with no lift, no public areas (unless you count the breakfast room), no views to speak of and generally speaking no amenities. And yet it's likeable place. I think it's mainly because its so old style and typically French: the narrow winding staircase, the piano in the breakfast... More

The hotel Le Sisley is a budget hotel in a great location in central Rouen. The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the Musée des Beaux-Arts which is full of impressionist paintings. If you are really keen on impressionist art then this is the hotel for you as each room is named after an impressionist artist and... More
