We spent 3 nights at Villa La Glorietta and loved every minute. The home, yard and gardens are enchanting in every way. Claire and Christophe made us feel welcome and were such warm and caring hosts. They have made their beautiful home a cheerful and welcome environment for their visitors. We had five people in our party. Two stayed in... More

This B&B is one of the top 3 that we have stayed at in the world (others in Porto, Portugal and Ushuaia, Argentina). Claire and Christophe are delightful and charming hosts who share their lovely home with lucky guests like us. They helped us with dinner reservations and directions which was most appreciated as we were on a tight schedule.... More

I got stuck in traffic today, called the villa to say i'd be late and the rude owner started shouting back over the phone at me that he can not accept me after 7pm! told me his is off because he's NOT a hotel... Makes his money from the booking fees. Good Luck!

We stayed in the Monet suite and it was just wonderful. Our hosts were just the loveliest people and we couldn't have been made more welcome. The entire place is just overflowing with quintessential French atmosphere. It was one of our most favourite places on our trip. Breakfast was delicious, our host going out of his way to serve us... This surely rated as one of the best B&B experiences we have had. With three of us there, we had both the Bovary and the Monet suites. What a wonderful experience it turned out to be. Quiet at night, a lovely garden en delicious breakfasts with some of Christophe's fromage frais (don't pass it up!) made us feel truly at... More

We stayed in the beautiful Monet Suite for the nights of 4th and 5th October 2012 and it was an absolute delight. The room is beautifully appointed and the shower is "to die for"! Claire and Christophe were both welcoming and informative and the breakfast was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The parking was easy and the walk into... More

We stayed for 2 nights in September and stayed in The Bovary, a beautiful room with balcony terrace and the largest bathroom ever. Our hosts were wonderful people, very happy to help and advise. Would recommend this B&B highly. Very close to the centre of Rouen where you can eat, shop and enjoy.

Villa La Gloriette is a charming B & B with incredibly gracious hosts.. The rooms are very large, decorated beautifully and the bathroom is no doubt the largest we've ever had in Europe. Our room, The Bovary, had a terrace that overlooked the gardens. The inn is just a short walk to the old city, museums and cathedrals.

Our brief, two-night stay in the Monet Room suite of Villa La Gloriette, graciously hosted by owners Claire and Cristophe DuPont, could not have been nicer! She may volunteer to do so, but if not, you MUST ask Claire to play classical piano for you at breakfast during your stay. Schedule time to "just relax" within the walled garden of... More

We stayed here Mon and Tues Aug 27 & 28. Nice room overlooking the garden with private terrace. Very quiet and breakfast was very good. We would return here any time. Helpful and friendly hosts made the stay a good start to our French trip.
