We stayed here for 3 nights over a busy weekend in september. We chose this hotel because we needed secure private car parking on site for our motorbike and we wanted to be in the city centre. The location was excellent but there is a bar/club nearby which says open until 5am. The bar itself wasn't noisy but the drunk... More

Hotel is very well located close to the cathedral and centre of Rouen. Room was spacious and comfortable and though above the street, the windows had external blinds so noise and light not a problem. Breakfast was good value. The best thing though was the proprietor who was very friendly and welcoming, staying to check us in to our room... More

The first thing to say is that the owner is a lovely man who could not have been more friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is simply not up to scratch. We had a family room which left a lot to be desired. The bedroom had electric sockets which were hanging out of the walls and there were hairs all... More

Tricky review to write as staff very helpful and very friendly. The hotel is well located near to the centre and an excellent price. However, unfortunately the feel of the rooms is a bit decrepit; carpet worn out, paintwork and fittings not quite right. Room felt unclean rather than actually being unclean. First impressions are key though. I didn't feel... More

We stayed two nights here & were happy overall, great to be able to park the car in the courtyard which seemed secure, plus the Hotel was in a great location. The room was spacious and reasonably clean with comfotable beds, unfortunatly the towels did not get changed for the second day so we had to seek out the owner... More

Nicely decorated room, comfortable bed - Yes, there was a bit of street noise at the front, but nothing unbearable - with a very friendly owner/manager that provided an excellent breakfast, as well as help and general information. We decided to stay two nights when we saw the room and the hotel and would be happy to come back for... More

This hotel in the old section of Rouen is close to the cathedral and the pedestrianized old town. It is inexpensive but perfectly comfortable. An excellent breakfast buffet is available. The hotel office closes at night so you get the codes to open the gate and door if you return late.

Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly proprietor who responded quickly to all our enquiries and requests. Location is excellent for access to the historic parts of Rouen. Superb breakfast in very pleasant surroundings. Room facilities perfectly adequate, reflecting the price we were charged. Actually similarly priced to anonymous chain hotels but with great character and personal service. Secure on site parking... More

We stayed here for three nights staying in room 7 on the second floor. The owner was extremely welcoming and speaks excellent English. He was very good with my two young children and gave them both free breakfasts. Breakfast was generous, fresh and a good variety of foods on offer including pancakes, croissants, toast, yogurt, cereals, compote, juice, tea, coffee... More
