We had originally booked three nights at the BW Le Havre (mainly because of the good reviews - Dont be fooled). We managed to "escape" after just one night. The hotel is an old, run down building which has been given a discount make over to make it look nice. We found hair everywhere; bathtub, the bed, you name it.... more

Tried to find an affordable yet quaint place in Honfleurs. When unsuccessful, searched the web, and the description of the Bordeau looked appealing. NO, it does NOT look over any water or harbors! We had to ask for towels for the two of us, despite a reservation indicating a couple. At 82 euros, this was 'costly' compared to its amenities.... more
