Very good, clean chalets. Home cooked food on the premises which was extremely good and the waitresses very friendly, both in the evening and at breakfast Picnic tables in the grounds. We have visited twice and will return next year. Highly recommended.

Since last year many things have changed. OK, tastes are different. But why must everything be modernized by force? All the flair has gone ............. what a pity ....... we were very disappointed and decided to stay elsewhere

A lovely, friendly and welcoming pub! The service is absolutely amazing and with a smile! Nothing is too much trouble and the food is lovely and fresh! The chalets are nice, clean and comfortable and I really enjoyed the themed rooms. Overall a lovely place and atmosphere and I shall certainly be returning!

stayed over at this establishment at the weekend. It's in a fantastic setting with lovely grounds and chalet type rooms x 10 - with the pub on the doorstep and could potentially be perfect with just a few tweaks. I felt the hotel didn't justify the £79 we paid. There was only twin room left which was fine but the... More

Had a very enjoyable stay here whilst visiting Rye for a Wedding. Very accommodating owner allowed us to check in early and was even kind enough to arrange transport to the train station on our departure. Room was cleaned to a very high standard, bedding and mattress clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and consisted of a high quality... More

Such great value for money. This low cost accommodation is no frills, but in a good way, a warm comfortable bed, a shower , storage, plenty of space and immaculately clean. All this and breakfast too. The location was quiet, and I would definitely stay again.

I rang and booked a table for that evening, I said we had a dog with us and they said that was fine- on arrival we was given a lovely table near... More

Went there on Monday night with a friend. It was a lovely country pub. Friendly barman with a great open fire. Good location with easy parking, great pub interior, worth a visit. Think on Tuesday nights they have a music night which sounds great.
