One of the best hotels at which I have ever stayed. Period. Superb food, wonderful service, unbelievable wine list, very comfortable rooms. I can't wait to go again; more like staying as a guest of the family than as a client at an hotel. It is close enough to Honfleur to be convenient; far enough away to feel isolated.

We just came back from a wonderful trip to France and stayed here two nights during our time in Normandy. There are so many pros to this hotel: as others have said, it is a beautiful location and property (like your French great-aunt invited you to stay with her), far enough away from the maddening crowd in the town, the... We were immediately made to feel at home when we arrived at this delightful hotel. Flowers and hand written notes in the room we a very nice touch. Drinks on the lawn watching the sunset before a candle lit dinner in a charming dining room made for a very memorable evening. The meal was enjoyable and creative. We look forward... More

We did not stay at the hotel, but went to dine here on the recommendation of a chateau owner in the area. How is it possible to have such a warm welcome and attentive waiter at the same time that they serve such terrible food?!! Don't they care about what their customers eat? They need a new chef! We felt... More

We have just spent 4 enjoyable days with delicious food in a delightful Normandy country house hotel. It is in an idyllic setting overlooking the sea serenaded by birdsong and we heard an occasional cuckoo, and 10 to 15 minutes walk from the picturesque harbour of Honfleur. Nothing was too much for the proprietress Brigitte who runs the establishment with... More

Lovely hotel, warm welcome and great staff. Unfortunately, the restaurant 'gastronomic' food is very poor. Bland, boring and very disappointing. At €99 per person one would have expected an excellent meal! Overall, great hotel but do choose a different location for the food.

We had a very warm welcome by bridget and her team. I especially appreciated the personal note and ofcourse the very personal attention to our families needs through the entire stay. I would also like to thank Peter who took time out to teach my son a little trick on plating a spiderweb. The property is quite beautiful, the rooms... More

Excellent friendly attention from Bridget the owner & her staff. Lovely hotel in quiet location with two minutes walk to the huge sandy beach and two minutes drive to Honfleur, which we both fell in love with for its charm. Would guess parking could be a problem in town centre in peak season though.

When we arrived at this hotel I thought that all my birthdays had come at once! Beautiful building and situation, lovely decoration, wonderful cooking and exceptional service. Free wi fi too. We had a room with a view down the Seine estuary over the sandy beach which is only a couple of minutes away below the hotel. The hotel is... More

Very pleasant staff, more than ample in size room and nicely decorated. Great location with lovely view only 12-15 minutes casual walk into HonFleur. My only complaint is that there was no kettle or tea making facilities and a bottle of water in the room on arrival would have been welcome. These minor points make it very good rather than... More
