The best place to stay in Honfleur. As with other reviewers comments, this hotel is like going back in time but with all the modern comforts, and excellent good old fashioned service. The rooms are beautiful, all different and spread around the main building and gardens and pool area. The gardens are stunning and as it was cherry picking time... More

This stay was something else. I can immagine that this was how all nice hotels where back in the good old days. The hotel is an old property consisting of a beatyful main building and surrounding buildings, lovely garden and a nice pool. All well maintained. We stayed in a room on the the top floor in main building, this... More

Beautiful well appointed hotel. The staff was wonderful. Lovely grounds. Great parking. Terrific must see town! I am already planning a return. The rooms were so beautiful, felt like I was walking into a museum.

A funny place (in a good way)- very dated- the bed linen was straight out of the seventies- yet charming and enhanced by pleasant service. I had struggled to find a hotel with parking in central Honfleur so L'Ecrin was invaluable for that. The location is quiet and an easy walk to the shops and restaurants but make sure if... More

Stayed for one night here and they could not do enough for us. Great parking outside for the cars, lovely grounds to sit in and enjoy a drink, didn't use the pool but it looked great. Room on the top floor with great views over the city and in such a quite street just a few mins walk down the... More

Our two nights at L'Ecrin were thoroughly enjoyable. In a quiet side street but still easy to find - well located for a short walk into town and the harbour. Car parking is secure and ideal for our classic car. The hotel is full of period charm - both in terms of the building and the furnishings and fittings -... More

The building is a gem architecturally and the garden a delight. Our bedroom was small but had quality.Clean ,comfortable, and it had a good view of the wooded hills. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We felt so welcome and there was a sense of fun in the air. The breakfast was top quality and the ambience of... More

The hotel was very easy to find and just a short walk from the centre of Honfleur. The main building looked fantastic and the reception room where we checked in was amazing. It was a little disappointing for us that our bedroom was in the building alongside as it was slightly run-down in comparism. The gardens are immaculate and the... More

Stayed at the l'Ecrin for two nights and enjoyed the visit. The hotel has several buildings nearby that comprise the entire hotel. We stayed in the main house which had been built in the 1800's. It is beautifully restored and maintained in the style of original. Our room, #6, was slightly on the small side but very comfortable for sleeping... More
