What a lovely place, just got back from staying here for 2 nights. We decided to upgrade the room and ended up with an amazing courtyard room with completely OTT decor including a silk pleated ceiling with a large crystal chandelier but what the hell, you only love once! The hotel has a really individual interior, literally stuffed full of... More

The hotel is within a 5 minute walk of Honfleur, with the benefit of onsite free parking. There are a number of rooms in the main house, however £150 a night is overpriced if you given a room in the old stables. The beds have sheets one blanket which was old and frayed. The stable rooms have showers not baths.... More

This was our second visit and didn't disappoint. The lounge, reception and breakfast room are in the original chateau and the furnishings are quite unique. The fresh lilies scent the whole area. We had a new room which was very comfortable and elegant. The bathroom is very modern. it has a car park which is essential in Honfleur. Its only... More

A gem hidden in this wonderful city. A little of a walk up a hill to find, just make the effort and stay at this gem. The owner spent some time in Indonesia,so, the decor is a crazy mixed blend of beautiful classic French antiques with an occasional Buddha thrown in. The decor for each room I understand is different,... More

An enchanting mix of a classic, grand French building, with some impressive Thai artifacts. We were warmly welcomed and offered a secure spot to park our motorcycles. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom beautifully kitted out, with lashings of hot water in the shower. Breakfast in the conservatory was a real delight and the town centre is a... More

Very comfortable classic period French house, with amazing furniture throughout main building. Excellently located in quiet spot up narrow street behind old harbour area and within easy walking distance of the port and numerous restaurants and attractions of Honfleur. On-site parking as major plus in this busy town. Owners/staff very helpful. No meals available except for breakfast, but with 180... More

We changed hotel last minute after being unimpressed with our first choice. Thank goodness for that as we found this gem and were lucky they had a room available for our 2 night stay. The charming man at reception soon had us booked in and settled in our courtyard room, helping us upstairs with the luggage. Bonus of free parking... More

Hotel L'Ecrin is well located for access to town, restaurants and harbour. The hotel is a grand house with original fixtures and fittings and has a private car park and free wifi. There were additional rooms in the courtyard which were more modern. We were offered the choice of a room in the old house or the more modern courtyard,... More

This was the best hotel we stayed in on our trip to Northern France on our vintage car trip. It strikes you immediately that it the main house is kept just like a family stately home and so convenient to the main town. Staff are brilliant and very helpful. Pool in a gorgeous setting and rooms clean and airy. We... More

This hotel is up a very narrow street slightly away from but within minutes walking distance of the bustling centre of Honfleur. It is spread over a few buildings and has at it's centre a manor house which has the reception area, a lounge and a conservatory - where breakfast was served. The main body of the house is very...
