My husband and I found this hotel while on a cruise two years ago visiting Honfleur. It looked so charming that put it on my lists of places to return to. We can check in around 945 in the evening so unfortunately the restaurant had stopped serving dinner. We were able to get wine and cheese with meat and bread... More

We arrived a bit later than we had planned, at 11am, no longer hoping we would be able to get a breakfast. Indeed the breakfast buffet closes at 10am, but the restaurant staff very helpfully prepared a last minute breakfast that turned out to be much better than anything we would have been able to get in a nearby cafe.... We booked Le jardin rooms not realising it was quite a way from the main hotel. Our room was large and modern in a converted kindergarden school. Our bathroom was very spacious with a very large bath and shower with his and her sinks. The cleanliness was not great with long black hairs in the sink and shower. It was... More

Had a wonderful break away, staying at is hotel in the middle of Honfleur. Staff were pleasant and helpful, even to the point of we had to wait (briefly) to be checked out and the manager made us coffee as he couldn't locate the staff member to book us out. Very accommodating and it was a lovely touch. I spoke... More

Right in the centre of Honfleur, this hotel is charming, quirky and full of character. Such a difference from the modern franchises, although maybe not for everyone's taste. We had a small room up on the top floor, no lift so we had to carry bags up - again, not a problem for us, but not to suit everyone. The... More

Maisons de Lea is in a great central location overlooking the central square and Saturday market. That does of course mean it is very noisy late at night and early in the morning. Don't plan on sleeping later than 630 as the rubbish is collected daily and it is VERY noisy. We had booked a suite but the layout was... More

We stayed in Le Jardin. So not in the main hotel, but a few minutes up the hill. The set up was fine for a family with kids, save that the bannister leading to the mezzanine beds for the kids was not very sturdy and the stairs are very steep. I was terrified at the idea of a child falling.... More

I love this hotel and the staff. Very pretty. Restaurant is beautiful. However, I you like to sleep late (after 9) or take a nap, do not stay in a room that is next to the bell tower. It rings very 15 minutes from 9 am to 9 pm. I will stay here again if I can get a room... More

We came with our two small dogs and chose to stay in La Maison du Jardin for the convenience of the garden. It was a great decision as the rooms are new, spacious and beautifully decorated, the bathroom is stunning. We took a peak at the rooms in the main hotel, they are much smaller but decorated with charm, very... More
