I have experienced various hotels in the near-by area and this hotel is highlty recommendable. I have to date stayed at Normandy Barriere, Ferme Saint Simeon, La Bonne Marmite,Douce France, which are all good for one purpose and another, as well as other hotels and chambres d'hotes. We telephoned Maison de Lea to book a room and only the "petite chambre"... more

Honfleur is a truly picturesque village with waterfront restaurants, excellent cuisine, art galleries and boutiques. The location of the hotel is ideal, the room is beautiful and the decor really charming. Despite the unfriendly, unhelpful staff, we loved this town and this hotel and hope to return soon. more

Enjoyed staying in this hotel. Only had one night here and wished it had been longer. Hotel is right in the middle of Honfleur which is lovely. No parking with the hotel, town car park is about 10 mins walk away so plan what you want to take to the hotel. You can sometimes find a space near the hotel... more

We have stayed in “Les Maisons de Lea” in Honfleur at the beginning of our 3 weeks trip in Normandy, Britanny and Loire Valley. In fact we stayed in the "Petit Maison", witch is a lovely little house in "Honfleur Style", beautifully decorated and right next to the Hotel main house. The Petit Maison is a perfect place for a... more

This is just the sort of hotel I adore. Great location, charming ambience, clean comfortable rooms and helpful staff. The ivy clad hotel, converted from an old salt warehouse and three 16th century houses, is situated opposite Sainte Catherine's Church and Bell Tower in the heart of this most picturesque old slave-trading port. Two minor drawbacks are the lack of... more

Excellent location right in the midle of the town, but quiet. The beds are extremely comfortable and rooms are clean, warm individual and more than adequate for short stays. It is definitely a serve yourself place, breakfast is in a cheerful room facing the square but you do have to make your own coffee/tea and squeeze your own juice, but we quite... more

This is a pretty collection of town houses, linked together by narrow staircases and passageways. Located right in the center of picturesque Honfleur, on the main square, just opposite the church, so no view of the water, which is no big deal, since Honfleur sits opposite Le Havre, on the Seine bay. Style is colorful, and each of the 4... more

We recently stayed in Les Maisons and fell in love with the place. It may be a bit twee for some, but the fresh colours and decor were so carefully chosen and a charming breath of fresh air. We have stayed in some lovely hotels around the world, and this one was certainly one we'll always remember as, if not... more
