We have stayed here many times before but this was the fisrt booking under the new owners so didn't know what to expect. Fear not it is at least as good as it ever was but now has much friendlier welcoming owners. This is the place to stay in Honfleur. Just a few yards from the harbour - right in... More

Or arrival it was hard to believe this is actually a hotel as the restaurant totally dominates, not even a reception sign anywhere to be found. After being left standing like idiots a waitress pointed to the bar, where they had to find someone to check us in. We climbed the equivalent of Everest to reach the room, managing to... More

Arrived around 4.00 pm at the hotel - no problem parking in the main car-park (€14 per day) only a few steps away from the hotel. Made welcome, but not shown our room - just give the key and shown where the stairs up to the garrett were. Room was tidy and clean, shower room immaculate but both very tiny.... More

If we had not booked through a certain provider and to late to cancel without having to pay the full cost we would have found an alternative hotel. We are both 77yr olds but our room was a garret up three flights of stairs two of which are narrow winders. on the plus side the room was clean and comfortable... More

We were two couples, and we found two rooms here the day we arrived. It was the end of the mid-season, late September, and mid-week, so that might not be a surprise. What we liked were the clean rooms, the friendly welcome, and the quiet evening and night. To be sure, the morning sounds of trucks delivering things and cleaning... More

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night, having arrived around 1 p.m. - had no problems with checking in right away. We loved the location of the hotel right in the town center one step from the harbor with all its restaurants and tourist life and a few minutes walk to all the main town attractions. Altough we worried... More

Decided on a last minute 3 day trip to Honfleur to catch a few last days of sun before "back to school". Had stayed at a different hotel earlier this year, but with little availability (not surprisingly), just used Booking.com and took a chance. Although there were a few dodgy comments on this, I decided to go for it anyway,... More

On the face of it this hotel should be lovely given it is well located and has a restaurant with good reputation. Sadly it did not live up to its promise. It was chaotic, disappointing and our stay was surreal. First, we checked in but could not find the room. Eventually I found a restaurant waitress who was clearing tables... More

We were attracted by the sign outside the restaurant of 6 oysters, mussels and frties for 16euro. We had the house wine and dessert. Excellent meal and very good service. Oysters and mussels were fresh. Did not stay in the hotel.

We reserved a room in Les Cascades a month before leaving for a driving trip through Normandy and Brittany. We had a very difficult time finding the hotel, despite the directions that were supposed to guide us. I chalked that up to my limitations as a navigator. However, when we arrived at about 7:30 pm on a Tuesday evening and... More
