A bit late on this review. We traveled in 2013 and this was the best. The proprietor was very friendly as we humorously tried to communicate, her in French, me in English. The room we beautiful with many windows and cross ventilation. The breakfast we great and the outdoor patio dining setup made it impossible not to meet other travelers... More

Honfleur being such a popular place, I didn't think it was still possible to find there such an amazing accommodation. The house is absolutely amazing with a very lovely garden. Location wise, it is perfect: in the center of the village, 5mns away from the most touristic area. We stayed there 2 nights and rented 3 rooms. The rooms were... More

I travelled with my wife and 2 friends, Brian & Jan. We arrived to a very warm welcome from 'Madame'. She was very easy to get along with especially if you took the trouble to speak a little French. We went to our room on the second floor overlooking the rear garden. The room was large with en-suite facilities and... More

Janine couldn't have been more welcoming and her pleasure in having guests is so evident from her beautifully decorated rooms(we had the "romantic" room 1 flight up) to her very good breakfast, including freshly baked sweet bread, fresh raspberries, ham, cheeses, croissants, juices, and more. While Janine's English and our French is limited, we communicated pretty will with the use... More

We had a great stay here. We were in the "Romantic" room which was enormous and had a huge bathroom too and was immaculately clean. Our bathroom had a shower attachment with the bath but nowhere to hang it so you had to use it by hand. I'd normally be annoyed by this but as everything else about the place... More

At Madame Janine home. That was my feeling. Staying in the house of a friend in a small charming countryside French village. Eating breakfast made by herself, having cider in the courtyard, while chatting. Don't expect luxury, or a great hotel, but be sure to have the warm of a home. You can park in front of the hotel. You... More

A perfect place to stay in Honfleur. A quick walk from the port, but away from the crowds.Quiet at night. Nice breakfast and even hot eggs upon request. Janine was great, very helpful and welcoming. Responsive to my emails before we came as well. She also had a parking spot for us...this is key, since i wouldnt want to try... More

Stayed 4 nights, we had the Suite ( African themed). This is on the top floor and is very big. Large bed , seating area , settee and large bathroom ( shower only, but twin sinks) would easily sleep 6 and had good all round views. The bridge, the garden, the street and being on 3rd floor v quiet. Not... More

My husband and I were very pleased with this B&B and its wonderful owner and hostess, Janine. She has gone above and beyond most other B&B owners in her artistic decoration of the entire home and each guest room is outfitted very nicely. The Pommier room is light-filled and large with very nice shower and there is really no noise... More

Not only did Honfleur live up to its reputation as being one of the most beautiful towns in France, our stay at Jane'Laur made our time here even better. We stayed in the room called Pommier and it was lovely, with its decoration being true to the title without being over the top or kitsch. It is a large room... More
