A delightful and charming place to stay. Quirky bedrooms and pretty courtyard full of flowers, situated in a perfect position in Honfleur, close to the shops and the Basin. The staff went out of there way to look after us, not only in the hotel but also when my husband was taken ill. Sylvia and the young man who served... More

What a total surprise - we were looking for a hotel that was central and not corporate . This hotel was amazing hidden away behind closed doors - a converted school - the classrooms are now bedrooms . It is a hidden gem - we woke up late for breakfast - the staff set a table up for us -... More

Delayed by two hours due to operation stack and euro tunnel delays. We got a call from the hotel asking how long we were going to be at 8.00 pm . We replied another two hours , well the hotel owner was apparently very angry and cancelled the room. !! So we arrive in honfluer 10.00 with no bed! We... More

My wife booked by email and was impressed by how courteous the owner was. When we arrived at this charming place we were made to feel very welcome and shown to a wonderful bedroom up a steep flight of stairs - not for the faint-hearted. Parking is a bit of an issue but we were able to drop of our... More

Spent two nights recently a l'ecole, rustic , charming but with all modern amenities. Situated in a quiet location but close to the Vieux Basin, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommended it to anyone but then it might be fully booked when I return!!

A gem in the middle of Honfleur. On arrival the staff could not have been more helpful and all spoke English to some degree, making my schoolboy French somewhat redundant. The little courtyard is stunning and the rooms, up a very wonky staircase, are a delight. Very quirky with no straight lines anywhere! The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was... More

it is so rare to find a little hotel like this. We just spent one night there but wished to stay longer. Every room is unique and so charming that you really feel like in the last century which fits perfect to the whole atmosphere in Honfleur. But the best was the breakfast (hard to find a yumie petit dejeuner... More

This was a much planned celebration and we'd visited this hotel last year to make sure it was 'just right'! We were able then to chose our rooms and that was good as our first one was a bit bare. Recre - with a bath was our choice for my sister and her husband and we had Sylvia. Both were... More

We loved this hotel, the room was spacious and perfectly appointed with rustic items, china tea cups, and a nice big comfy bed. Being that it was originally a school there was an very old little text book on the bed, a very nice touch. Our room was right off the courtyard, which was also full of interesting items. Best... If you would truly wish to find rural France, with comfort, modernity, stylish decor with minimum 21st century pictures and decoration, this is the place for you. It was a school for girls and has been transformed into rooms and apartments Situation: within 100 metres of the main shopping street where nearly everyone WALKS, over sometimes cobbled narrow alleyways, all...
