We loved this hotel, the room was spacious and perfectly appointed with rustic items, china tea cups, and a nice big comfy bed. Being that it was originally a school there was an very old little text book on the bed, a very nice touch. Our room was right off the courtyard, which was also full of interesting items. Best... If you would truly wish to find rural France, with comfort, modernity, stylish decor with minimum 21st century pictures and decoration, this is the place for you. It was a school for girls and has been transformed into rooms and apartments Situation: within 100 metres of the main shopping street where nearly everyone WALKS, over sometimes cobbled narrow alleyways, all... On a busy afternoon, we initially struggled to find parking close to the hotel but were given helpful directions. The hotel is set around a pretty courtyard with a welcoming bar/breakfast room.. The steps up to some of the rooms are quite steep but well-lit. The rooms are creative and unusual - our bedside tables were old crates ! Our... More

Old buildings (15th or 16th Century in parts) which have been converted from a school, latterly, into a very pleasant and quirky B&B. We had a very nice room (but it didn't have a cupboard or drawers) with a bath in the room. It was very nicely, if sparsely, decorated. Very good "continental style" breakfast - you must try the... Delightful three night stay in this very unique lodging! Entry from street to beautiful inner courtyard covered with flowers. Rooms are creative rebirths with unusual outfitting! Electric glass panel heating, laundry type stone sink mounted on woodworking tool bench with vise intact, tub in sleeping area but marvelous... And somewhat quirky Internet access with 33 letter / number password. Excellent... More

This hotel really was a hidden gem. We found it hard to find in the narrow streets of Honfleur but it was well worth the search. The hotel is set round a flower bedecked courtyard and some of the steps up to the rooms are not for the feint hearted but this all adds character to the hotel. Our room... More

Stayed two nights at this hidden little place....literally hidden behind blue doors on a little street. Walk into a little courtyard with flowers and a table and lovely ambiance. This is a 17th century building with the rooms tucked away up staircases. Our room was on the top floor up a very steep flight of stairs which was a bit... More

We stayed here for three nights and although it was only a two minute walk to the harbour, it was so quiet. The school has retained much character and there were so many beautiful touches here and there. Our spotlessly clean room was up a steep staircase which might be problematic to anyone with mobility problems so best to check... More

The hotel was a bit of a challenge to find at first, it is nestled in a little back street just 2 minutes walk from the harbour, I am so glad we did find it!! I fell in love with it as we walked in... It is utterly charming, a little rustic hideaway. We were greeted by Sylvie, who is... More

Just came back from a weekend in Normandy and stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it. Really sweet old timber framed building centred on two tiny little courtyards 30 seconds from the old harbour. Sylvia the owner couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Cracking good breakfast and great room. Parking was 5 minutes walk away and only... More
