We started to book too late so did not find any decent hotels in this part of Normandy at that time. The value-price ratio is OK, the hotel does not want to be more than it is. What a pleasant suprise. As this is a 2 star hotel our expectations were that it may be a little run down. Its a lovely hotel, the rooms are nice, light and airy. Wonderful hotel for the money. Simple, central and very very clean. The bathroom was big enough to move around in without mortal injury to elbows and toes. Room 101 glows orange all night from the street lamp just outside - take an eyemask! And the breakfast pastries lived up to all previous good reviews. more

Great location close to the beach, casino, shops, and restaurants of Trouville. About a 5-10 minute walk to Deauville from here as well. What was best about this hotel was the breakfast. It's made fresh every morning by the owner. He's a former baker. His wife and daughter, who also help to run the hotel, were extremely nice and helpful... more
