This B&B is actually a few minutes drive from Bayeux, so you would need a car. That said, it is the perfect place to stay. The B&B is housed in a beautiful converted mill with a peaceful creek on the property. The gathering room is spacious and well-appointed, and there is a beverage station available 24 hours per day. Each... More

Thank you very much for your review, it's not a smell of cigarets, only the odor of the larg chimney in my kitchen, because the temperatures are very hot outside More

Helene is the perfect host and takes utmost pride in her beautiful, luxurious and peaceful B&B. Her attention to detail is highly commended. The bedroom we stayed in was stunning and the en-suite bathroom was also beautifully appointed, with both rooms spotless. Breakfast was superb and a real treat, with such variety and selection. The B&B is surrounded by tranquility:... More

On our visit to Normandy, we wound up staying here for 2 nights because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. We couldn't be happier with our choice. The property is fantastic. Walking around after we arrived, I felt my blood pressure drop 20 points. Madam Fichot is fantastic. She's very welcoming and friendly and there couldn't be a better host.... More

What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast! Helene is a fine owner, made us feel comfortable in a welcoming setting. The 250 year old mill was remodeled into a B&B in a calm rural setting with horses and sheep and well manicured landscaping. The rushing water of the mill has a calming effect, especially in the night with a cool breeze... More

Third time in this region, but by staying in this bed and breakfast our stay was more than perfect !! The location of moulin de hard is just perfect, quiet environment to enjoy nature and the rest. Perfect to charge the batteries, great host, good breakfast, beautifull rooms. 11/10.

On my second visit to Moulin Du Hard in two years I was feeling myself in the lap of luxury. Helene Fichot makes you feel like you are family. When I came in 2013 with my husband, I knew I had to come back. We came for two nights then - and this year I brought my mother and sister... More

This was our first experience of B&B in France, and it was way beyond our hopes..! Our hostess was friendly and could not do enough to make you welcome and feel at home. The sound of water falling beneath your window in a beautiful room was so relaxing and our stay for 2 nights was certainly not long enough. Would... More

Madame Helene has mastered the art of the B&B. From the moment you drive up to the beautiful property, to the warm welcome to the comfortable room and delicious breakfast of homemade yogurt, fruit and of course wonderful breads, this is the most relaxing, lovely place to stay. I would love to stay here again and again!

From the moment you enter the estate, you appreciate what attention to detail Helene has provided with her property. There is a beautiful long gravel driveway to her restored old flour mill in the country, maybe 10 min from the free parking lot in Bayeux. The entire B and B is bathed in warm colors. Breakfast consists of bread with... More

We stayed at this amazing Farmhouse for three nights and absolutely loved it. Our hostess provided a wonderful breakfast every morning which included homemade yogurt and jams. The room was large and immaculate. The farm animals grazing in the pasture outside just added more charm. I would go back again when traveling in this area.
